You are right ~ that empty Bermondsey carbuncle would certainly benefit from our travelling army in a preseason friendly . I suspect it would be the first time you have seen South London represented in such great numbers! Would like to see us play the teams that went up from league one last season..Be a good barometer of how far we have to go to improve for that level. Failing that how about a SE test of Palace, Millwall, Welling, Gillingham, Ebbsfleet, Bromley. We will certainly discover who the hotheads in the team are (Gilbey, Aneke, Clare perhaps?) And see who is prepared to die for the shirt..0

No trip to Welling then as the 2 usual Saturdays are now taken. Could play them midweek like we did last season but it seems like Tommy boy likes to upset the apple cart.0
