If it wasn't for being able to record and fast forward Raw and Smackdown I would have given up on it years ago.
Haven't seen Raw but I'm liking the Ezekiel/Owens storyline. It's a case of talent making chicken salad out of chickenshit. No doubt it will get too silly and they'll ruin it. Judgement day and the bloodline are more than decent. It's starting to improve, there are some nuggets in the sewage, although they shouldn't have split The Hurt Business!0 -

If you watch the Ospreay match, Taz talks about it a lot, the kicks and the hands in pockets aren't about trying to hurt the opponent, it's mind games. He lures them into thinking he doesn't care about the match, he's taking the piss out of them, and then when they snap he uses their aggression against them, usually in reversals and pin attempts. As a "story" being told within matchups, it's actually pretty clever. I mean he's better as in people make him out to be a pure comedy act, but he's not Santino Marella/Vito in a freaking dress. I can't see them putting the big belt on him, but the TNT/TBS title or the All Atlantic Championship, I can see them pulling the trigger on him winning one of those at some pointCafc43v3r said:

It's not so much him I have problem with. Last week on dynamite two 260+ plus pound people sold him putting his hands in the air and then in his pockets like they were HHH when mankind took his mask off. Then let him kick them in the shins, twice. Why didn't they just flatten him?
You can't be the ultimate underdog if you need people to not take you seriously. Suspend belief, of course, but you need to be somewhat serious, don't you?
I am obviously not the only one who doesn't/didn't get it, neither did JR.
I feel that when they started they presented a number of people as "stars" and just assumed the audience knew they were. When the truth is most of the target audience didn't even know who they were, let alone they were stars. They have almost done the same with Cole.0 -

The second cage drop wasn't planned and if 'taker was on the same section he would have gone down two. Furthermore 'taker botched the chokeslam meaning Foley didn't land on his head.

Apparently so, in fact he apparently entered the match already injured and was just trying to push through it. I don't like the way that Tony Khan talks about it though, in his post media scrum he talked about how "the timing of the match wasn't right....but probably if he couldn't continue it made sense to end the match"Friend Or Defoe said:Touch wood never again. So he directly says that the match outcome was changed due to an injury sustained by a guy that they've openly admitted was already banged up going into the match, and that just doesn't quite sit right with me0 -
Just finished Forbidden Door.
Having never seen a New Japan show, I have to admit that the presence of practically all of their big names didn’t really have any impact on me.I’ve heard the names Okada, Tanahashi etc over the years on different wrestling podcasts with people fawning over them. None of it did a lot for me personally. AEW struggles to really integrate ‘outsider’ names into its show and doesn’t really explain why I should care about a lot of these people.
Its frustrating because they have done an excellent job in building up their own ‘homegrown’ stars over the last three years.
Absolutely love the prospect of a CM Punk / Jon Moxley feud though. Think of those promos…..0 -

I mean as in bringing him in and his first match will be against The Miz, which in reality is Heel Vs Heel, Miz turned on Paul so should be the heel, but people will want to boo Paul so badly, will they turn Miz face for the match? Now and again I’ll just spend hours and hours watching back highlights of it all.For me though Wrestling is now dead, I know it’s not an age thing either cause if it was I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the older stuff, the story lines are crap, creativity, it’s too censored and watered down. Back then you had people like Val Venis, Godfather, Test, Gangrel, all really memorable wrestlers and they were openers/Midcard wrestlers, now the wrestlers at that stage are so vanilla.I’ll always have a soft spot for it though, I’ve enjoyed some great TV over the years, but nothing will ever top that late 90s/early 00s era of wrestling1 - Sponsored links:

Hardly anyone watching at home would have thought otherwise back then though, Hogan was the most face wrestler at that point, same level as John Cena. Even sounds like the other commentator is cringing when you watch it back.Either way crazy segment, top 10 wrestling moment for sure0
