A bit awkward that Wollacott is in yellow, the same colour as Sutton

I assume Castore haven't given us any other GK shirts...
    - Who are we playing today?
    - Sutton.
    - What colour do they play in?
    - Dunno. Does it matter?

    Too hot.

We look ordinary and no one is busting a gut in this heat.
Chill Henry, it's a training session, course they ain't busting a gut, second half coming up and the win eh.. B)

With how hot it is, it’s hardly surprising that the play is slow.

So if its 30 degrees on the first day of the season this is what we can expect then and that will be the excuse

I think I can see what BG is trying to get them to play and it might eventually work, but at present Stockley, JFC and Fraser do not seem to be able to play as he wants. Was concerned about the goalie until he cam off his line to claim the ball which seemed to settle him.

    Work in progress - definitely

Oh yes and it is quite boring with seconds of excitement - isn't that how a Swindon fan described his team last season?

No one will be busting a gut today, because there is nothing to play for.

It’s also how I’d describe the majority of friendly matches.

It’s almost like Steve Brown didn’t spend much of that half talking about how the mentality and tempo completely changes once the first game of the season starts ;).

Totally different, that's proper football, not a pre season kick about, all built around fitness, come the first match we will be well up to speed..

So is that the same for Sutton? Genuine question as I haven’t seen the match - are they looking better than us?

They are looking more energetic, that much is clear, but then thats their approach

Ours appears to be a slower type of build up... Pass and make the opposition chase for the ball, making gaps

Not bothered about the 1st half. We all know we are going to smash it in the 2nd. Will be fuming if we don't score at least 3 😃

They've been the better side. They obviously forgotten that pre season friendlies don't matter

Good hold up play from Stockley again after receiving a throw in from Clayden

Lays it off to Kirk, who puts a weak cross into the box that is easily cut out - Thats the other issue there - Stockley can do all the good in the world with his feet, but if there isnt an end result... Its not going to be remembered

Nah I'd just say he's behind the others in terms of fitness

Shame he couldnt do 60mins today at the very least

But he was at Fulham.  Surely they were getting fit!

Hopefully Connor McGrandles will be ready soon,  we seem to lacking a busy midfielder

Premier League starts later than the Football League... Fulham are only playing their first pre-season game today, so he'd have gone through the usual fitness work no doubt, but he wont have had any match fitness.

Stockley drops deep again and sprays a good ball out to CBT.

Great play from Stockley again, drops into our half to collect a clearance to feet.

Quick turn, and long ball sets CBT away, we get a corner
