Great finish though, that's the difference I am afraid to say.
It's almost as if quality forward play is a priority in football.

Ness bottled it when he saw Armstrong running at him

Good strike but allowed to come forward without a tackle
And somewhere Ben Amos is saying that's the Charlton I know and love.

Leaburn rolling back the years there.

Two miskicks in a row and then gives away a foul.

Exeter have 10 goals in 2 games. Think we might have signed the wrong manager.

You can't pass up chances like that.

We're shocking in this cup. Not exactly unexpected.

83' Henry sees a volley blocked on the edge of the box before his follow-up deflects over. #cafc 0 #qpr 1

Can't rely on somebody learning the game and so young.

Tbh didn’t expect anything but a loss, with work it’s hard to get to evening games will be at Plymouth next Tuesday, few moaning about the lack of fans but the team never really turn up and we don’t have the ability to play a very strong side.
  • In a dark vault at Sparrows Lane there is an ancient scroll explaining what a Charlton Manager should do whenever we get past the 1st Round of the League Cup.

Only a select few have been able to discover its secrets.

"Ben Garner's side look like going out. Having said that, they've been largely untroubled by QPR tonight."

Match is going to be decided by one inexperienced young defender making a bad pass and then a Premier League player picking up the ball and spanking it in the top corner from 20 yards. In terms of patterns of play etc, we have more than matched them.

Clare going off was arguably more important. Ness has had a tough time out there

No club at this level is going to keep that sort of goalscoring form up either.

We need a Tyler Roberts type.
