That closing down at the edge of the box is impressive.  If Ben Amos is watching he will be banging his head against the wall.

Looks like we have abandoned the have as much time as you like to pick your spot policy.
"Can't stop that, it's another worldie" we heard week after week.
And they were right 80% of the time.

Need some more fresh legs up top soon I think. Leaburn and Payne not really been in it for the last 10-15 mins.

Without Aneke/Washington, our lack of forward options are showing.
I really think Washington would have complemented this system and style of play.
While I do agree the problem is I don't think he'd be the first choice to start as the lone striker and we saw his limitations when playing out wide before. Absolutely he'd have been a great option to change things a bit bit I doubt he'd have accepted that.

Their pacey subs are going to be too much for us I'd say.

Don't think we'd want extra time and penalties here.

That pass from Gilbey is the worst thing I've ever seen
Wondered when you'd pop up at criticise Gilbey. Mind you, you're not far wrong there!

Players never accepted that.  They think they can do the role, force themselves into the team or be so good the manager can't leave me out.

No one, certainly not at league 1 level (I accept it happens at the very top level, Rob Green, Scott Carson, etc etc).

Some times a manager might turn round and say you aren't playing, period.  I would rather shit in my hands and clap than pick you.  But it's very very rare.   Even rarer for "ability" reasons.
