Brilliant 🤣🤣🤣Pelling1993 said:Stevenage aren't paying any of Gilbey's wages but they've agreed to lose in the league cup0 -
I’m ITK. I’ve heard our new signing is Fu Kin Nowan. I think he may be Korean.2

Would have been his first hat-trick for sure.ForeverAddickted said:Guess that Gilbey cant then play against us in the League Cup... Damnit0 -

Can’t see Macca leaving to be honest. He’s just had a baby, bought a house down south and got married.ForeverAddickted said:
Wonder if Macca is thinking about Wollacott going to the World Cup, so feels there is an opportunity to try and prove he deserves a chance come two games in November / December.Swisdom said:Gilbey wasn’t at training today
McG was training hard apparently
So wants to stay for that reason.Nobody is desperate for a number 1 at this stage of the season and I imagine he’s on a very decent wage here.2 -

He's not being paid in cash by Stevenage, but instead is being given the Nectar points from Steve Evans's weekly shopPelling1993 said:Stevenage aren't paying any of Gilbey's wages but they've agreed to lose in the league cup0 -
As usual some classy comments from some about a departing player.5

I don't know what the ramifications are if he stays visa vi incoming transfers. But I feel like him staying wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. He's a solid #2 at this level. Harness looks promising but very raw. It would also potentially allow him to go out on loan and develop further, and then maybe we can sell Macca on in January once the World Cup is over. If it means we don't get another forward or defender then I'd say move him on, but if it's just a budget thing, I wouldn't mind spending a bit of TS' dosh to have a more robust squad.ElliotCAFC said:

Who I hope stays in terms of overall quality:
1. JFC
2. DJ
3. Macca
Who I think we can afford to leave in terms of squad depth:
1. DJ
2. Macca
3. JFC0 -

Not sure he fitted Adkinballs either.golfaddick said:Quite liked Gilbey, but he didnt really fit Garnerball and we are surplus to requirements in midfield.Although tbf, he had moments where he looked pretty decent. But I guess not enough of them.0 -

I hope Gilbey finds his Mojo at Stevenage as I don't get pleasure at seeing Alex struggle.
Will this start the wheels in motion ?5 -
