Husband is there, he tells me it’s standing room only and he’s never seen it so full, well done all17
-
Snippets so far
‘broke his leg three times as a player’
‘trained to be a professional ref’
’big Sam gave him his debut at 19’
’dad his biggest influence’
’researched a lot about Charlton’35 -
I hope someone asks about the constant injuries players pick up shortly after joining the club. Egbo and now Kane! It can’t just be coincidental, is there something about our training methods, state of the pitch etc., etc.4
-
Highlight so far, “Dean, why did we have to walk across a dual carriageway when we travelled away to Shrewsbury, it was dangerous…”
I’m going to ask him if he’d rather be a chicken or a squirrel next?6 -
Tracey Leaburn has Dean doing an I’m a celebrity eating challenge for prostate cancer, nice one.
I’m sure someone will be along soon with more of the serious footballing questions asked and answered.9 -
Going well

Really good evening - thanks all for organising!3
-
Massive turnout, I've been to many of these meetings over the years, I'd say its the biggest. standing room only at the back.6
-
Anybody ask about signings?0
-
I had to leave as the 9pm finish call was announced and the last 3 questions were due to be asked due to a family emergency, but it was a good evening and both fellas are really likeable. Both are pretty funny too2

Really good evening, 140 people there and we raised £300+ for @Tracey's prostate cancer testing.
@Covered End is Dean's favourite questioner 😉
Both are really funny but took the time to answer nearly all the questions in depth.
No names or positions re: transfers in. No one leaving without DH's say so and no stars being sold (yeah, I know but that's what he said)41 -
Really enjoyable evening. Both seem too blokes and great humour from Holden. Really do believe he could do well. Hopes to have contract sorted if things go well before season ends in May.9

Well worth attending and DH came across really well and wants to stay beyond the summer. We are talking to new signings and looking to have players approaching end of contracts to sign new deals - his words were 'we are looking to keep all our better players'.
Pleased he was taught how to pronouce 'Charlton' properly but needs to keep practicing it.

Golfie Jnr was there. I'll quiz him when he gets in.0

Will be fine, thanks @Bolderhumphreyreid. We have a very poorly 14 month old and the missus was concerned enough to want to get him checked out, but I had the car. Thanks for your commentBolderhumphreyreid said:

He reports to Rodwell & TS.valleynick66 said:Q: who do you consider your boss and how often do you speak with them ?3 -
I asked Dean who was responsible for him joining as it obviously wasn't TS.The Red Robin said:Might be worth asking Holden how well he knew Rodwell, Scott and Methven before he took our job and who approached him about this one?
He asked why it couldn't be TS. I replied because he knows nothing about football.
He didn't really say who was responsible.19 -
Dean wouldn't say anything about transfer targets because Charlton didn't want to alert other clubs. Not convinced anyone much will be joining but who knows?
I did believe him when he said we intended to keep all our better players & Rak Sayki should stay until the end of the season.7
