killerandflash said:Miles isn't a rough diamond, who's been playing cage or park football. He was at Chelsea's academy until he was 16, so already has had the technical upbringing, what he needs is match experience.
It's not in his interest or our interest for him to leave now, when he's settled and playing regular football.0 -

I haven't trusted TS since the day he arrived and thoroughly dislike what I see/hear of the guy, however if the club do sell a player for a profit he has every right to pocket the profit against his outlay of running the club at a loss.3

Can understand JW wanting to go out on loan and get regular games as he'll want to keep his spot with Ghana. However with AMBs history of injuries I don't think it's the right move for the club. Will be interesting to see if this comes to anything.0

He’s not even going to get a chance to be rotated in during a cup game, and he obviously won’t during a match.
Much better for him, and maybe even us in the long term, to go and play and improve then sit on the bench getting no minutes.0 -

Really has been a kick in the teeth for Jojo hasnt it.
Pretty decent start to his Charlton career, gets injured right before the World Cup so doesnt get to play... then he comes back to England and he's lost his place to an highly rated Academy prospect that he shouldnt have worried about, because they should have been with Gillingham.
Is proof why if a player gets an opportunity to move upwards in their career, they'll more often than not take it because of this.
One minute you can be No.1, the next minute you're shopping @ Dunhelm for a nice cushion to rest your arse on29 -

A large part of the money he has lost has been self inflicted.15 -

Being stuck as No2 keeper in L1 is not ideal, I couldn't really blame him if he wanted to try and prove/establish himself at a higher level.3 -

So no problem with me that we see things differently on this.
What I hope is that whoever our new owner may be that they learn from mistakes made by Roland and Sandgaard.
Both Roland and Sandgaard refused to put experienced football people in charge of running the club and consequently both fucked up.
Let's all hope the new owners do things better.6 -
Wollacott isn't even fit to play yet, so it's quite a leap to becoming unsettled because he's stuck on the bench. He has to reach the bench first!13
-
The good old days of a keeper happy to be number 2 seem to have long gone although Dillon Phillips quickly moved to number 3 at Cardiff before he was loaned out.

And is now on loan at Oostende.0

Why are people assuming this has come from Wollacott? The article says there is interest in him not that he is looking to move on or have I missed something?5

Re: Leaburn being sold, the current speculation re: a takeover would complicate things, but if it were TS and someone came in with even a bid of £1m, he’s likely to accept it, regardless of if we think he’s worth more. When you’ve spunked as much money as he has, with what I presume is little chance to recoup it, you’ll take every penny you can get0

Leaburn is probably the only thing that TS can use to justify asking for a decent fee to sell the club so he won’t want him gone on the cheap0

Would make sense , lost their first choice to a long term knee injury last week.0 -

A large part of the money he has lost has been self inflicted. He would however be closer to a potential cash out if we get to threaten a promotion to the Prem.
So not sure he’d have lost any less (significantly) but he might have felt more comfortable about it and enjoyed it all more.Is he or our potential new owners taking note to do it differently in future?0 -
So we get Wollacott in to replace (ultimately) Big Mac, and now there is talk of him maybe going because Ashley has had a couple of good games, and I have been well impressed myself, but he does seem to be a bit injury prone doesn't he...surely the club wouldn't be that stupid....would it...1

Michael Morrison has moved from Pompey to Cambridge on a free. I'd have had him back with us.9
