Have been really enjoying Andor. Not usually a Star Wars fan but this world is a great departure from its usual action movie 'zap zap zhrooooom' tropes. Seems to take more influence from Blade Runner 2049.

Pedro Pascal is a good call but my only criticism is his voice is slightly too high pitched even if he has got the Texan accent perfected

Hunters Season 2 is on Prime now. Loved season 1, Season 2 really good too. Has just the right balance of sinister followed by surreal to keep me happy! (Sound of Music homage was brilliant!).

Tried watching this a couple of times. Not my cup of tea and some of the acting is just so wooden.
Only Murders in the building - Disney plus great serial killer / comedy series, the cast is great and a good little binge, done season one on Sunday, 2 seasons with the 3rd being filmed currently.
Episode 3 of the last of us was a curveball to say the least but very well done, puts another dimension on that bit of the game to say the least!
I thought it was a quality episode, looks like they are going to stretch this season out. Getting used to Ellie now and think she is playing the part well.
That 3rd episode of The Last of Us is one of the best hours of television I've watched in a long, long time (coming from someone who's never played the game).
Binged the new Netflix Series Lockwood and Co over the last couple of days. Based on the teenage fiction books, but definitely "ramped up" for TV. Basically it's Ghostbusters, set in modern day London. Pretty good watch.
Oh come on, it ticks all the essential boxes. Nearly every family is black, white & mixed race. Vast majority of the senior police are non white. Jack's deaf daughter comes into his workplace every day in order to "sign" with others and do her homework. The new lad is overtly Jewish. He replaced the wheelchaired white lady.
Before I get brick bats for making these comments all I am saying is they are not representative in numbers in London today. Not in those numbers/ratios.
IE I doubt many have deaf kids allowed into their workplace daily to do their homework. I doubt that nearly all more senior police officers are non white. I don't believe the vast majority of families are mixed race.
I'm not saying any of the above is wrong, just that the writer is paying too much attention to box ticking, meaning the programme isn't representative of every day life.
It would be just as unrealistic if everyone was white C of E, because neither is that the case in London.
