All the talk of consortiums made me think that in times past we had consortiums of a sort at the top of the club.

And mostly, fans wouldn't have recognised them in the street.

    The only one there I had never heard of was Gideon Franklin?
    I was in a hotel and I saw Gideon's bible back in the day but I thought Queen of the South was the only team that got a mention 🤔

    Indeed while it wasn't a formal consortium that owned us back in the 90s, I think we really benefitted from having a diverse board, rather than the club being run by one individual.

    Not that diverse, every man has turned up wearing the exact same tie!  :p
