    Just blurted out no no no when I saw this thread. Didn’t know Gavin that well but he reached out to me on LinkedIn as we worked in the same industry. Gavin was someone I’d regard as a Charlton peer as a similar age to me and remember him from this Selhurst days and think he got the sidcup line. RIP fella.

    Like @stop_shouting I too blurted out an oh no and some other expletives very loudly. 

    Gav was a smashing bloke, remember him well from the Selhurst days and when we finally got home. Once had to haul him up in the Robin costume at Selhurst when he tripped over. Still remember him yelling Lockie give us a hand as he was rolling around on the floor, we always chuckled when we saw each other.

    We were/are roughly the same age so that does hit harder. RIP Gav, I’ll raise a glass to you my friend.
