    The music itself for GSTK is actually pretty good. Liechtenstein also has the exact same music. I think France is clear in first place for me

    I like ours.

    Isn't the Italian's the one that starts with just music for ages and then they start singing about halfway through and it's as if they're trying to cram all the words for the whole song just into the second half? Almost as if they didn't hear it start and are then trying to catch up!

    Welsh one in a full stadium is awesome. Just wish there was an "England" one that was actually good. Land of hope and glory is great, written by Elgar, made by Macho Man Randy Savage

    The French anthem is the best by a long distance, but quite bloodthirsty.

    Agree, ours is awful and can’t imagine I’d ever sing it, so, uninspiring.

    Would prefer we sang the Haka.

    And really there should be a separate English anthem anyway. 

    English Cricket uses both GSTK and Jerusalem

    Always seems to me like it never quite gets going. No climax or crescendo. Basically a dirge.

    I Vow to Thee my Country would make a great English anthem in my opinion.

    Of the others - the best is easily France followed by Wales.

    God Save The King smashes the rest out of the park - Solid, dependable and has led the line through some of the most tumultuous world events. None of the peasant revolutionary shite of the rest. 

    The French prefer to play their anthem in reverse.

    I’m surprised English national teams want to use the British national anthem. Jerusalem would be much better.

    Boils my buns when female singers of the national anthem at sporting events screech the ending in a massively ascending high note. “Go-od save the Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeng”.  A relatively recent affectation but totally unnecessary.
