Sorry to hear this Jane. I met you and John on one of your bike rides at the little train station at Wells next the Sea. We were waiting for the steam train to return from Walsingham and got chatting about football and the fact that we both turned out to be long term fans of Charlton ( small world ). We also exchanged Charltonlife monikers from which we were able to exchange personal messages. As the poster above said John was a true gent.8
