If the model is to sell, reinvest and repeat, I can live with that if it strengthens us and makes us challenge.Corey out, Peterborough or ipswich striker in wouldnt be a bad thing.
except we all know that it will be Corey out and a 15 year old park player coming in9 -
Unless we have a very big day today, this lot are done after just a few weeks of being owners.

Maybe CBT just wants out of this shit show ! - personally wouldnt be too disappointed as very little end product from him - feel T Campbell will be a much better winger and also defend better as well and tracks back.

If CBT does go, granted it could well be a silly Twitter rumour, and he’s replaced with some loan or unknown entity, that’s officially it for me, CBT been one of very few positives over the last two seasons.2
-
I think everyone knows if you sell someone on deadline day, even if the intention is to reinvest some or even all of the money - we would never ever have the time to do anything as this late hour.

So I fully expect it to happen1 -

We all know that repeatedly beating your man is a skill yes and that an assist every other game is decent?
Plus being a man and not a boy and able to play 90 minutes is helpful too?
CBT is not one of the many problems in this squad.8 -
All those saying CBT isn't any good and we should sell for £1.5m.
Ask yourself why another team in a higher division are, supposedly, willing to pay all that money for him?
It's depressing when some fans immediately trot out the party line fed indirectly by Methvan that "this is good business","everything is ok", "it's all part of a three window plan" when it's plain to see that plan is already collapsing.

Selling CBT on deadline day would just remind me of the Andy Reid to Sunderland fiasco and I don't want that again.3

We seem to lurch from bad to worse, when will the madness end!2

Never seen Abankwah play, but I follow a couple of Twitter guys (Eire Guide & Kenny’s Kids) who keep tabs on all the Irish players. They’ve been very positive about him for quite a while and there’s a lot in his character that speaks volumes about the type of man he is. No idea if this will work out, but it’s a shame that we haven’t been tapping the Irish market for a while now. Some great kids coming through…and yes I know we also need experience and hardened pros.5

Selling one of our best attacking outlets (if it's actually true) in the final hours of the window, when the squad is already short of numbers is a piss take and basically means they're writing off the season on 1 September.0 - Sponsored links:

I’m not advocating for Tennai Watson I know little or nothing about the lad but a couple of things worth pointing out.He rejected a contract at MK Dons he didn’t get released and secondly MK Dons fans on Twitter are gutted.11

Crap results, decent human being seemingly ostracised and disposed of hastily, low level alternatives being sought evidencing low ambition, prospective managers no longer seeing CAFC as a good career decision, terrible transfer window, no fan engagement so far, no sense of direction…………….10

everyone’s missing the big thing about selling CBT, we’d have lost both men’s players who launched the home kit. It would be like the calendars all over again!0

With regards to CBT, it depends on how the next manager wants us to shape up. If we use wingbacks I’m not against the sale as long as it’s reinvested, which I don’t think it will be.1

Are you now saying you got that wrong?1 -
Callumcafc said:It’s not Corey’s fault obviously but it does seem as if the team was set up in recent weeks to just give him the ball and pray something happens. That’s not a sustainable way to get results, as we’ve seen.Instead, we need to be playing as a team and creating chances through attacking patterns of play. Much more likely to be able to sustain a run of positive results when you’re not reliant on an inconsistent wing player.I don’t want to lose Corey by any means but at the same time it would be interesting to see how the team adapts as soon as that option to “give it to Corey” is taken away.3

Forgive my ignorance, but are wing backs expected to score goals? If so Tennai hasn’t.
