On Tennai Watson, he made 30 odd appearances for MK Dons last season performing at RB, RWB, LB, LWB and CB.2

Not exactly a kid - 22 now. And played 9 times on the way to promotion from the champ last year. Feels like a good squad depth option.MarcusH26 said:2 -
unlikely but I wonder if every manager we interviewed said we were light in midfield. I wonder if anything like that would change our plansMarcusH26 said:The Louie Watson signing suggests maybe one of Camara and Fraser is going to be out a lot longer than first thought....1 -
If we are playing with 3 midfielders think we needed another regardless, so you don’t have to throw Anderson in too much.MarcusH26 said:The Louie Watson signing suggests maybe one of Camara and Fraser is going to be out a lot longer than first thought....

Slight error from Cawley, he's actually 22.MarcusH26 said:
ROI U21 international.
Has a grand total of 7 career starts for Derby and Luton (all in the championship though) and 11 sub appearances. 608 minutes.
He's less experienced than Aaron Henry.6 -
Do people still believe the budget bit?!CAFCBourne said:Selling CBT for anywhere near a mill is good business. Losing his pace would be a blow but it would open the purse strings on the budget surely?
Where have you been for the last 8 weeks!
I give up.3 -
2 Watsons and 2 Campbells is a nightmare for Terry though1

He might be a teensy bit better than Aaron HenryChris_from_Sidcup said:

You just know it's Camara if it's one of them, one of the only positive signings this season and looked like a proper player8 -

Trying to flog one of our better players on the final day of the window so we can afford to bring in more kids, brilliant.
I will still be going to every home match, going to a good chunk of the away matches as I love this club but that is total nonsense if that is our deadline day business.2 -
He's never been inCrispy said:5 -
I wonder whether that was part of the reason why Holden left. Weren't there rumours of bust up between him & Scott ? Perhaps Scott told him what their plan was & Holden disagreed & told him to stuff it. Easier to sell your best players when you don't have a manager to oppose it.seth plum said:What does our manager say about keeping or selling CBT?
Oh hang on, there is no manager to object to losing him.
Quelle surprise Rodney.0 -
If Chem Campbell and Watson3 are 10's/ creator types of midfielders then maybe Fraser is out for a while longer, been pretty quiet around his injury (tbf it always is with us but still)0
-
I think its Mcgrandles who is injured, if it is Camara that is a massive blow.0

Oooh Rich talking about Ladapo, I like that!2

We would get overrun in midfield...BR7_addick said:
Honestly I’d love to see 442, it’s the dinosaur formation but it would suit us, plenty of width and two forwards, we’d be exposed at the back but when aren’t we anyway!PWADDICK said:With regards to CBT, it depends on how the next manager wants us to shape up. If we use wingbacks I’m not against the sale as long as it’s reinvested, which I don’t think it will be.1 -

This. I don't want B-T to leave but sadly he is just not suited to a 3 5 2 formation.roseandcrown said:If CBT does go it will further make me think that Andy Scott wants 3 5 2 and CBT does not fit that at all. In that way it makes sense but only if more players come in to make the group better.

Why don’t we spend some money on Owen Moxen from Carlisle or Noah Chilvers for Colchester?
We always seem to go on the cheap every time! Have some ambition Charlton!20 -
if we had taken 1.5m, for example, and bought Nombe before Rotherham, then fair play. But yep, this is becoming a joke.Henry Irving said:All those saying CBT isn't any good and we should sell for £1.5m.
Ask yourself why another team in a higher division are, supposedly, willing to pay all that money for him?
It's depressing when some fans immediately trot out the party line fed indirectly by Methvan that "this is good business","everything is ok", "it's all part of a three window plan" when it's plain to see that plan is already collapsing.

How long until us fans start to protest against this new ownership?? I’ve written off this season already … I bet the attendance for tomorrow game is gonna be very very low … league two here we come !!1

Strange one for Ipswich, Scarlett scored 4 in 34 in league one last season so not exactly sure what they saw that makes them think he'd be an asset in the championship. I don't even think we'd be overly happy if we signed Scarlett.MarcusH26 said:
If i was them i'd rather keep Ladapo.5 -
CBT is a very rare player indeed in that we haven't completely ruined him. Shame if he goes.7
