Very left field but Andy Hughes has been on the coaching staff at a fair few championship sides.4 -
Scott Parker?1

lordromford said:I notice Michael Beale is under pressure at Rangers already. Fans are calling for his resignation after being humiliated by, er, a 1-0 defeat to Celtic. Wow, what an appalling result. Embarrassing. 🙄Anyway, he’s a name people usually mention as a potential manager for us. Maybe he’ll be available sooner than expected?0

Available and was at the Valley yesterday.
2/5 with some bookies.3 -

There is nobody else out there that appeals to me.Let’s stick with Pearce.
Wouldn’t be surprised but I’ve not heard that anywhere.
He declined to comment on the job to Cawley apparently.I’m a Darren Moore fan, but my info
is that it’s not happening. However, money talks and people change their mind.Similar with Challenor, I’m told it’s about moving here. We will see.On a positive note: you can’t beat an ex-Charlton player as our manager.13 -

I just ignore him it's pretty simple really
Sounds like an R.D. Laing knot.0 -

He has openly posted on ITTV forum that he comes on here to wind people up. Ignore.0 -

I’d have thought it more likely he wasn’t interested because he’s already got the tee shirt and probably after his associations with England and Spurs can have some very attractive coaching options without the hassle of tin pot club management.4

We're told Powell has declined an offer though. That's no critisism of him, but as he won't be our next manager, who will be is the question.
We need a no nonsense dynamic man motivator with bags of experience in L1 who will inspire the team to over achieve. We need a man for all seasons and not just part of one, someone who, at the very mention of their name, will have fans reaching for their wallets and purses desperate to make sure they don't miss out on our reemergence in the upper echelons of the league as he steers us on a one way journey back to fame and glory.
Can someone, anyone, seriously tell me that that man doesn't go by the name of Michael Appleton?

Not sure why everyone seems to think Ronnie Moore only comes on here to wind people up. He posts the same nonsense over on the 'other' forum, so unless he's that bored he's trying to wind people up across two sites then i'd say it's more likely he's just deluded.
His most recent post - "big club , great potential.. new owners with money … this club only going one way".
In fairness though, he didn't actually clarify which way.17 -
This this is the next manager thread. Not the Ronnie Moore thread.13

Ronnie pass the bucket Moore is 70 years old and Eastleigh will be his first manager's job for 7 years.
He only ever works "grim up North" so by coming down to Hants he can meet up with his fellow Merseysider Nigel Adkins and go on lovely walks in the countryside.
Ronnie Moore as an Ex Charlton player is hoping to be on the shortlist next season (autumn) when Charlton are looking for a new manager again 🙄

Wonder if he'd be interested in a move to 16th in league one.4 -
Transfer window closed. Technical Director now freed up to get the new manager. No doubt there is a short list and everyone on it contacted and initial discussions already started. No doubt we’ve already been turned down by some. Others will be very keen. I think we’ll hear something by Friday although if the man is already in employment it might take longer to conclude.6
