I've been in the museum all day (Paul Elliott popped in as did plenty of others, very busy) but I'll type more notes when I have time, probably Sunday or Monday8

Still hearing positive comments, trusting in the new guys and their procedures (why wouldn't I ?)
Individual responsible playing the normal game, being seen as the nice guy, super efficient (or was that effluent) etc
Quite rightly a director and a manager would not discuss a serious allegation made against a named member of staff in public but I linked the bullying to Paul's mentions of culture and to his role regarding mental health. I also pointed out the business imperative of not losing good staff or staff not being as productive as possible due to a bullying culture.
I think Steve was slightly miffed as he said that as soon as he joined people on social were saying "are you going to sort out the bullying?" which isn't his role but he did say that it wouldn't have been tolerated when Varney was in charge.
Over 3 years ago, I asked Nathan “What’s up mate”
I was never going to drop it because it was “my football club”
When the club is promoting Mentalhealth awareness and long term staff are leaving to protect their Mentalhealth questions should be asked and answered.
Hopefully the new guys will answer them, we shall see?3 -

Had I have been well enough to travel up, I'd have asked the question too.
If Ben named this horrible individual during his question, that's even better the more publicity to his antics the better.
Ben's always been there with advice and his area of expertise has been more than helpful when I needed it.
I tried to support those that needed it when I could and probably got that wrong sometimes too, like you said "action not words" is what's needed.
Arranging a meeting with the then owner, listening to his BS and promises remains in my head, if he was to promise what he did to his then staff, what is going to say to win over the punters (fans)
It's now known that I asked to speak to him at The Valley purely ask him to comment and he declined to meet me, because he was "Busy"
He's also denied knowing anything of fans attending SE9 to answer police questions despite his name being on official court documents of the fans that refused to sign the
" I promise not to say upsetting things or call him Burger Boy" so he's a liar as well.
Since hearing what I heard a week or so ago, I left it to the employment experts at the club to see how it plays out but its certainly not forgotten and if the new ownership let their staff/former staff down then we/I will pick it up again.
So I shouldn't have made comment about a "politicians" answer in the first place - I'm so confused 🤣🤪
What I would say is that I'm glad that the likes of you and Ben put your head above the parapet, I got sick of it at Dumbarton to my shame. I wish I could just ignore the politics of football and just go and watch a game - but I wouldn't have been drawn to Charlton without the back story of the return to the Valley. Damned if you do...8 -

Damned if you do...I’ve been told, “no one’s interested” “it’s boring” “stop s*it stirring”
I’d rather stop attending football than not listen to someone struggling at work because their complaints of bullying are not taken seriously or someone tearfully telling me on the phone they want to leave to protect their health but have bills to pay.Bullying is wrong on so many levels but walking away because “it’s not my problem “ is criminal.17 -
@TCE, keep it going, bullying has NO place in any employment. It's time its was wiped out at our club! Don't give up mate!
