So what's everyone up to?

Most overrated night on the calendar….. being dragged along to a NYE thing at a house down the road but all a bit forced.3

Going to our friend's restaurant, seven courses and all your drink for €80. Music and dancing after. Life's too short to be sat around grouching when there's an opportunity to dress up and have fun. Happy New Year to all you lifers! 🍻🍾19

Usually out but we are going to stay in and watch a movie or 2 and crack open the spirits . Sign of my age - would never ever have dreamed of staying in NYE when younger ! At least I have the Valley to look forward to tommorow ...........................
Happy New Year everyone.1 -
Just ordered fish and chips, kids want to stay up until midnight so will have to pretend I'm not drunk5

Just returned from Dawat Blackfen
3 types on delivery machines spewing out orders

Up to a local little micro pub. Will probably be shit faced by 930 so may or may not see the new year in.0

I’ll probably set fireworks off outside the Oxford team hotel at 2am. When they finally get to bed I’ll set the fire alarms off and then tomorrow will poison their breakfast. Hopefully that will be enough to keep the score to 0-2 tomorrow.20

Same as the last few years......not a lot. Will probably switch between Jools Holland's Hootanany and whatever else is on until midnight. Then watch the fireworks & wait for Golfie Jnr to come home. He promised he wouldn't be too late & not too drunk either......which is good as he's doing the music tomorrow so will need to be down at the Valley by 12.30 tomorrow 😄.1

Naff all, total excuse for a few dickheads to get pissed and keep everyone awake singing up the street, with some git letting off fireworks at midnight...🥱1

For the first time in about a decade we are going round to a friend’s house with a few others. Looking forward to it. I dislike new year as a rule. I’ll decide whether I’m in a good mood and want to party thanks very much. Too much enforced jollity for my liking. As I say, I’m looking forward to it tonight for a change.5

Went out for an Italian with my missus and recently turned one year old lad, after taking him swimming and soft play earlier in the day.Now about to settle down and watch the Ronnie O’Sullivan doc on Amazon. Hope to be conked by 10pm. It’s a far cry from the early noughties, but I wouldn’t have it any other way these days. Happy new year all3

Had tickets to Wonka at Vue in Eltham this afternoon but when we arrived, were told there was some sort of UK wide technical issue preventing it being shown all day. Sounded like bollox but not much we could do about it.Staying in tonight, might not even make midnight, have never really been a NYE fan.0

As usual the dogs are gathered around our feet as the occasional early fireworks go off, watching every loud movie with the volume cranked up and Kelly’s Heroes goes on at 11.00 and the battle scene starting around 12.00 to drown out the midnight display. Will crack a bottle open later with Mrs B, to those that supported our work with the dogs and supported me personally through a tough year, thank you.
Happy New Year to our wonderful if slightly disjointed Charlton family.11
