My assumption is that Gilliesphy in means Ness will probably get a loan move this window.Still hoping CBT sign a new deal. Would be a massive boost for the club if he signs a new deal. He’s the one I really want to be at Charlton next season.5

DubaiCAFC said:Today is also D-Day for JCH to sign or we move on. I believe we have already started to talk to that club, and has moved positively.. He is a player been mentioned on here a number of times, and we was in for him in the summer.3

We still have a long way to go
The defence needs fixing and if Dobson and CBT go we'll need at least four more (inc the Plymouth centre half)
Desperate for a forward

Would assume the striker is Sam Smith from Reading and I totally agree that Ness badly needs a loan somewhere, just go and get regular football again.0

Lewis Bate being made available. I know it's probably now very unlikely that we have signed Coventry.0 -
I wonder how many of the names from the summer we're going back to, JCH, Ladapo, Smith, Etete4

Noise is now, they are planning for life without CBT and Dobbo, but they won't let them go on the cheap this month, they have figure they want, and they don't have to sell, and both players are happy to stay till the end of the season. Charlton are in a strong position with them both!
The issue is, they both know the figure Chuks is on, and want the same.. Which isn't going to happen. Both deals they have been offered would take them to among the highest paid players in league One.. That tells you how much Chuks is on, and why they can't move him on easily.19 -

Would be surprised if Ipswich allow it until they bring in a striker. They've only added Sarimento so far and I think Hirst is still injured0 -
Lordflashheart said:Well I have to say I am pretty stunned by this - a Hammer mate of mine says he is very good indeed, and surprised he chose to go to a Div 3 club - is far too good for Div 3 he says - 3 1/2 year deal as well
I hope we keep hold of Dobbo and CBT - hopefully they will view this signing as a reason to stay onboard, as perhaps it would be worth hanging around at Charlton now2 -

It was drawn up by a bloke that was absolutely bobbins where football was concerned.6 -

My Hammers mate is very well connected at West Ham - writes in their programme etc, regularly sends me photos of him having lunch with ex West Ham / CAFC players (last one was him and Minto) - he says that Coventry is a Josh Cullen clone, can’t get in first team due to players signed by them, down the pecking order, wants to be playing first team football, wasn’t overly happy with going away from London / SE etc
He says we have signed a very good, hungry player for this level and the level above
I’m going for a lay down 😃28 -
I'd take Bate in a heartbeat, along with Conor and the 2 loans that's a powerful midfield right there!5

How much is Aneke on?0

Ipswich main striker is injured so Ladapo won’t be going anywhere. If they bring in a couple then maybe at the end of the window there’d be a chance but I think it’s unlikely1
