Charlton recruitment team, easiest job to secure in the world.
They couldn't identify a good players if their lives depended on it8 -

3 returned/cancelled loans in January. (Could be 4 if we were allowed/able to return Camara). Not a brilliant reflection of recruitment team.
I've don't think I've seen us or many stable Clubs returning 3 loanees in the transfer window?5 -
I live in St John’s Wood, if anyone’s interested.8

It's concerning that our "hit rate" with loanees this season has been so bad, as it'll put off PL clubs sending their better kids here rather than to another L1 club.
Of the 5 we signed in the summer, 2 were flops and went back (Abankwah and Tedic), 1 went back after an unwhelming spell (Chem), 1 has been injured nearly all the time (Camara) while the other has struggled to get many minutes (Watson).1 -

Identifying good players isn’t really the hard part, it’s having the budget to beat other clubs to them, finding the right mix of personalities, being a club on the up that’s attractive to sign for etc.
Had we not had the money to pay fees for at least 3 players this window we’d have probably signed cheap loanees/free agents as an alternative.1 -

A bit like JCH, our bid might be accepted but it could be a waste of time and effort.2 -
Still think this lad should be on the radar too

I see Mo Eisa has left MK for Exeter. Scored 5 goals so far this season....with Alex Gilbey outscoring him with 7.0

Ladapo
Eisa
Taylor (aka the snake)1 -

Otherwise, Taylor is more likely to score more, especially at this level with a point to prove, to himself as much as others.
Exeter are in general a poor side, but it’s still a good signing for them and I would anticipate he scores around 6 in the remaining 17 games for Exeter.0 -

Think we have too many lads. We need a couple of hairy arsed men.

Any rumours of signing a half decent striker?0
