Jones out!Seriously a great appointment. Rowett and Moore would have also been great.1

At last a bit of common sense, a Manager and no more Head Coach nonsense. Jones knows the club too so doesn't have the feel of an outsider coming in where I mentioned one failed play offs campaign is the best we'd done since Curbs.
This is as good an appointment the club can have made and in the manager role too, absolutely chuffed with this. I ideally wanted Bowyer but certainly more than happy for the club to give Jones a chance and think we all, club and fans need to get behind and stick with him for the long term now.
Welcome home Nathan Jones!7 -

A few lengths of A4 I reckon15 -
Excellent appointment, especially in our current predicament.
Nathan Jones TO DO LIST:
1. Keep us in League One this season.
2. Establish a clear style of play that is a) successful and b) good to watch.
3. Get the defence and defensive midfielders working together cohesively.
4. Get more creativity in the attacking third.
5. Ensure that the gaps and imbalances in the squad are addressed in the summer.
6. Get Dobbo to sign a new contract.
7. Build a team that will at least get into the League One play offs next season.22 -

Hope he tears our existing bunch of feckless freeloaders a new one, gets the newbies playing and then I can get back to potentially being happy at 5 o'clock on a Saturday, rather than being resigned to disapointment and abject self loathing for supporting Charlton.
Welcome Nathan Jones..."You been gorn far too lorng!"5 -

b) is really not essential in our predicament. After years of failure I would happily forgo attractive football for success.

That was one of Nathan’s problems at Southampton he didn’t do it.
Trust he has learnt from his mistakes.1 -

Great, only alteration I would make is promoting No 6 to No 2...we need Dobson deal done...✅0 -

Yes, they may give advice to their "members" as to the content of it & whether any special clauses should be added or omitted, but in the final analysis if Jones is happy with what we are offering he just needs to sign it.
Seems like there must be some unusual / contentious clauses in it for the LMA to be "making alterations" to it. Probably is a relegation clause or a "freedom to move if a better offer comes along" option being inserted. For his benefit I would say, not ours.19 -
