He's effectively taken a struggling team and ripped out the few pieces that were actually working.27 -
So far Andy Scott's recruitment record makes the era of the TS's black box and the Tommy Driesden days look like genius.
For someone to get it so badly wrong is beyond comprehension. Alfie May is the only positive amongst of sea of absolute shite whilst letting go our arguably best players. Complete shambles.
And then we have the Appleton saga which was destined for failure from day one.
I have still not seen any indication that this lot are serious about getting us out of L1, maybe Jones is the start. To get out of the league you need to buy up the best players in the league and add in a few players that will give all for the shirt. The blueprint is there from 2011/2012. Trying to do it on the cheap does not work.

I should think Jones is about to have some very direct conversations with Scott and co. on how they've managed to assemble such an inadequate squad of players?
Remember, it looks as though Jones very much has the owners ears. (The real owners and not paper money Methven)
I would hope some cold hard truths will be winging their way back to that group in due course.5 -
Scott, Methven and Rodwell are getting off lightly compared to the public campaigns (rightly) targeted at Meire. Methven happy to be the face when things were going relatively well in the early Holden days. Nowhere to be seen now.3

Losing CBT, Fraser (even though I didn't rate him), and Dobbo in a month without signing adequate replacements has to be a sackable offence. It's amazing that Andy Scott has made Martin Sandgaard look slightly competent.

Not seen a single player who is a real improvement on what we had. Jones will want to offload most of the players we’ve only had for less than a season. Early days I know but the signs are not promising. And I’m fed up of some fans who profess to have a greater knowledge of league one and two players say ‘Tennai Watson is a good signing’ when it couldn’t be further from the truth. Scott has a lot to answer for, his signings have been woeful.8

Got Florini in as a replacement for Fraser, he's worse.
Got Bakinson + Coventry as replacements for Dobson, neither are much better.
No replacement for CBT.
Knew Leaburn and Aneke were unfit and we need a striker to hold the ball up; gets Ladapo who looks like he's never seen a ball before.
Made sure our formation forces us to include our worst players in Edun and Watson.
