Am I mistaken, or do I keep reading we play it around too much and need to be more direct? Now I am reading about aimless balls punted up front?
There’s no one moving to play it to, that’s the issue

Edge of my seat waiting for Chuks
  • Get rid of Thomas, he’s a liability, play just the 3 at the back; bring in Chuks to play centrally up front, hold the ball and keep the defenders busy and let May and Kanu to do the running around up there.

Even in the days of Tresor Kandol and Chris Dickson upfront, we didn't look this bereft of talent or even effort

Yes some of the worst players in a Charlton shirt I have witnessed in 55 years of supporting this club.

This is why I find it funny against Reading everyone was like ‘this game is crying out for Dobson’ - like somehow we have not been crap all season when he has played - and lo and behold he is back in - and we look exactly like we have all season anyway.

We are just so poor everywhere, it wouldn’t matter if Dobson was prime Yaya Toure.
Dobbo almost gifted them a goal earlier on with another misplaced header

We are only not in the bottom 4 because PV  arent playing. By 5pm Sat we will 4th bottom & by end of the month will be firmly entrenched in the bottom 4.

All thanks to Andy Scott & Co. Well done fellas 👏👏👏. Only people who could bring in 9 players and make us worse. Thank fuck they didnt have the summer window otherwise we'd be rock bottom.

    Get them out.

How is it Scott & co have had their big Jan window, and yet we're still starting Kanu and Anderson in mid Feb

Scott has somehow managed to build a team that has no threat and can't defend. Some accomplishment that.
Scott is as CNUT - needs to be sacked
  • The only positive in all this is that the regular away travellers will get to tick off quite a few new grounds next season.

The desperation in the excitement whenever Chuks comes out to warm up might be the bleakest part

    I would say ‘the worst.
  • Never have I ever seen Charlton play in division 4, and I've been supporting cafc over 60 years.

Curbs saying he'll have Aneke on for the next 45 as he "should be able too"

Oh, Curbs, really now, 45 mins right off the bat. Silly Billy

He's been the best centre back of a very bad bunch the last 10 games.

He's also part of the "play just 3 at the back" right now, so I have no idea what you think we should do about it, you really want to see the slow motion car crash of Jones and Gillesphey together?

I thought it was a misplaced pass?

Can people stop saying “That’s it, we’re done” every single game please? Be as pessimistic or optimistic as you like, but seeing 20 people post this every game is meaningless and it’s getting really boring.

So what do you want us to post?
    Nothing?

    close the thread!
As Romford says... Saying the same old shit about us being done and going down has nothing to do with the Match does it

You'll be surprised to know there is a separate relegation thread
    Well that's told me!
Nah......post what you like mate. Even Prem scores. Free country innit.

If only we'd have just kept Dobson (like we have done) and bought a creative midfielder instead of Coventry or Bakinson.

Now we're sat with 3 central midfielders without a creative bone in their body.
Don’t think a creative midfielder is going to help us out of possession, or defending crosses into our box.

Not saying much but I think Bakinson has been our best midfielder in recent games, at least he gets himself up and down the pitch.
    Is Bakinson good or not?

Charlton not looking very fluid going forward so far tonight. When they have had chances (mainly the Bakinson one), finishing hasn't been clean. Lincoln have the best defensive record outside the top three.

Teams back out. Can't see any changes for either side.

No but he probably has been our best midfielder recently which is more indicative of how fucking pony we are
  • He wasn’t great against Reading.

If only we'd signed an ikpeazu type player instead of Ladapo.

And if only we could learn how to fucking defend. Lincoln playing the same formation and we can barely get into their third whereas they seem to have all the space in the world to stroll into our third. Abysmal.

Second half kicks off, we go down the left and have a throw. May to take long?

Nobody has. We’ve never played in the 4th tier.

Flicked on by Anderson, headed clear by O'Connor - and again and again. Eventually goes over to the right and off Ramsey for a throw.
