Notice Charlie can’t be bothered to wear a Charlton tie, where as Steve has his on.
A Charlton tie would match his shirt better. Nasty colour clash between the green tie and the lilac stripes of his shirt...
Public schoolboys (particularly those from the home counties) have an innate ability to pull off clashing clothing. Brown suede loafers with blue socks and beige ankle swingers are a current favourite. Tweed jackets with clashing shirt and tie suggests a family background in farming or land.

Two rules that have to accompany their sartorial elegance:-
    1. Ironing is entirely optional.
    2. Clothing is irrelevant if not accompanied by a signet ring on the little finger.

If you have ever been in the family home, you will know that the same principle is applied. The condition of the furniture and fittings are often less than pristine, not helped by having muddy Labradors lounging around and farting.

However, the old sofa and the dishevelled rug have been in the family since shortly after Capability Brown did the garden.

Ah, but if he wore a Charlton tie he would be immediately accused of all sorts. Devil worship, eating the poor, all sorts. Probably.
