That was @Redmidland second visit that evening as you can see by the time, we’d been out for a drink.
His first visit earlier that evening, JJ had never met him before and you only met JJ on his terms he didn’t really care how experienced you were around large breeds.
He didn’t like how Wally came into my house and to be fair he had a point, laughing and joking while entering my house is not seen as etiquette to which JJ took exception and while not intending to bite he charged at Wally unfortunately his ABS braking system was slightly out off calibration and he headbutted Wally straight in the nuts.
I can assure I didn’t laugh I was to busy texting Wallys wife to laugh.
This photo, JJ is looking Wally straight in eyes as if to say “Now I warned you once, sit down and shut up”
JJ is sorely missed at home, as are Xena and Bailey but JJ had that edge about him that kept me on my toes only one person was loved by him as much as me. 👇👇👇👇

I can't find the German Shepherd thread, but I saw this post on twitter, and thought of the two of you @T_C_E and @Redmidland.
Particularly liked this one in the replies:

    Just reminded me.
After leaving school yesterday with Bowyer we passed a house with a chihuahua loose in the front garden, with no gates it came out onto the footpath and wanted to hurt Bow.
As I always do, I tried to move Bow on from any potential fight because despite him being calm and not wanting to fight this dog I know he could easily kill it with just one bite.
As we walked on still aggressive, the dog started to follow us so I had no choice but to turn Bow around to face his challenger, now realising the size difference the dog stopped in his tracks.
We now had a stand off, the dog already 10 yards away from its home and knowing if I walked on it could attack Bow from behind.
I decided to walk towards the dog to see if I could push  it back into its own garden which worked and relieved I walked Bowyer safely away.
A passing motorist unbeknown to me had witnessed the whole event and was parking her car to help, knocked on the door to advise the owner what had happened caught up with me further on and told me she saw the whole event.
Bowyer was a superstar, me? I was already writing the headlines in my head and it wouldn’t have been, loose dog attacks Gèrman Shepherd it would have been

Irresponsible dog ‘owners’ (hate using that word) piss me off so much - my dogs have been bitten and attacked on walks (they wouldn’t harm a thing, they are lovely boys), and all 3 times the owners haven’t shown any care or remorse for what their dog did - luckily the worst one (at Hall Place) my wife was with me - I totally lost the plot, and I was gonna punch the lights out of the owner for what he said (he was about 65 🤦🏻), but she pushed me away and diffused the situation - otherwise I would have been on a GBH charge…..
