Did he have a flag in the early 90s with ‘Bod of Erith’ on it? Got it in my head, but can’t be sure if I’m making that up or not0

Days before mobiles but you knew that if you turned up at a certain pub on certain time train he’d be there. Always looked up to him. RIP bod.My thoughts go to his friends and family, He’s a personality that I can imagine will leave a void with quite a few people where a night out or an away game won’t feel the same again. RIP Bod

It’s properly affected me. I loved the fella. Hadn’t bumped into him for a while. Were of a similar age and both part of a crowd that grew up when we went to Selhurst. Home and away for years. I’ve spent lots of time in his company at football and sometimes down Dartford. I’m pretty sure I bumped into him at The Buzzcocks gig at the Grammar school of all places once. Was never sure about his flirtation with Ebbsfleet though 😂My fondest memory of him was not when he was being gregarious and lively and hilarious but when he came up to me just after Duncan died on the concourse at half time to show me a photo someone took of me him and Duncan on the train to Middlesbrough away and we both welled up like a pair of softies and ended having a man hug. It was a moment. You will be missed Tony. A lot. And the world, us lot, and CAFC will be a lot poorer without you around mate.
