Which is fine when there's a fixture clash, but as Charlton aren't playing how is it relevant?1 -

FWIW, I will no doubt watch it at home also.1 -
I may however, squeeze into an undersized Sergio Tacchini tracksuit top, throw a load of gear up my nose and join them.
Then come Monday morning, question my judgement.
I somehow doubt it though.0 -
Lib Dems want a bank holiday if we win.2

Just booked a table near the big screen in the St George and Dragon for me and Mrs idle. Barman recommended reserving. Might drag in a neighbour or two if any lost souls haven't thought ahead. Only two places in this village showing it, and the other one is the cricket club, requiring a walk up a long hill.

Thats fine. They can take a chill, and we can all keep the economy running like grown ups3 -

I’m not going to Germany or an outdoor screening, I’ll be sitting at home. Why have the game on a Sunday night when nearly everyone has to be up the next morning? 3pm Sunday or Saturday night make much more sense.6

At home on my own, in my little den , a beer or two.
Hopefully enjoy the win, and think back to 66.

DA9 said:I will be in a Gatwick hotel for an overnight before our Monday morning flight on holiday, just before the tournament started we did book a Greene king pub in Three Bridges as part of their Euro advertising, just in case we made the final. This was because our hotel had said they wont be showing it, since then we have changed airlines which meant a terminal change and hotel, this new hotel will be showing it as they have a dedicated sports bar.
I did call the pub this morning and apparently they don't set out the tables/chairs separately so that you are guaranteed a view in front of or near the screens, as their advertising would suggest. Basically, you have a table, there are plenty of screens but we cant guarantee people wont stand in front of you.......
Hotel bar early doors to secure a seat I think, and no travel to Three Bridges (albeit its down the road)DA9 said:roseandcrown said:Will be watching it at home with my two kids if they can stay awake.

At home with my wife, who, if true to form, will be telling me for the next few days she's worried we'll get stuffed and then moan about the sideways and backwards and lack of urgency during the match. I'll stay quiet as usual, except for jumping up cheering and doing laps of the living room with my arms in the air when we score. Should we actually win the thing, I'll be beside myself. I might even treat myself to half a malt stout.

Funny that it's the people not working that really care about making sure no one else has a day off in celebration12 -
My guess is that they have worked longer than you ever will.5
