After watching the Holland game in a Dutch bar
here in Spain. Thought I’d stick to a local
English 🏴 one for the final against Spain2 -

I couldn't even watch the shootout at Wembley, after the match and extra time drama, I was wrung out emotionally, but when Sas saved the last one and the roof came off our end, I was there..."The only way is up" 'n all...👍8 -
Will be in the Prince of Wales in Belvedere from about 4pm0

Lordflashheart said:Home - can’t stand watching England in pubs etc - Lady Flash will watch with me, albeit we had a minor conflab first half of semi final, as she was (after already being quite a few Pinos in) constantly talking and offering her opinion about how the match was going, and talking utter drivel - my request for her pipe down as she didn’t know what she was talking about didn’t go down well 😂
Talking like he played professionally and not for the local old bill team 🙄
All I can do is manage to breath in and out through each passing match.
I’ll need a ventilator on standby come Sunday and an intravenous drip for my peroni 😫😫😫😫😫😫3 -
In Spain ..... bar / restaurant called Spangish ... they really are on the fence.5

The £10m save it was labelled in the press. I wonder what it's worth now?

Going to the game flight to Munich tomorrow and a train to Berlin
Was Stressing about the return as literally no flights or trains but good old BA started to put a few extra flights on and bagged a bargain £800 single back to City on Monday6 -

Give yourself plenty of time to travel on the trains as the German ones are worse than ours. hope your journey goes well and you have a great time!1 -

I'm in Santorini and watched the semi final in our hotel room. Trying to decide if I'll book a table at a local restaurant showing it.
Many years ago, I went with Peterboro Addick to a local Peterbro pub and watched the England Argentina 2-3 loss. At full time it turned quite nasty and, whilst nothing happened to me, I felt threatened. Ever since I've found watching matches on my own in public places a bit disconcerting. On the other hand if we win I'd like to share the atmosphere.

Watching at the pub where I host a quiz every Thursday. Table reserved, bit of live music first, then all you can eat barbecue before kick off.5

Lie on the sofa with a stack of pillows covering my head.🫣2

all ready here to cheer and applaud a famous victory .. like HMS Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar where the Royal Navy hammered the combined French and Spanish navies .. semi final, final, all the same for the English1

I get the same thing with tax, earn too much through PAYE so I pay silly percentage but not enough to be able to get an accountant so I pay nothing…0 -

Anyone know a good boozer kind of anywhere in SE that isn't yet completely done for bookings? A load of us have left it a bit too late as we're playing cricket in Shoreham (1pm start, 30 overs a side, done by 5ish we hope) and weren't sure when we'd be able to get somewhere.
Ideally one of Greenwich, Kidbrooke, Dartford, Lewisham/Lee, Bromley would be the options owing to the respective geographies of our group and transport logistics. Cheers0 -
Weather is looking good, so garden with telly and a few friends around it is.
My sons got four tickets for the o2 and asked if I fancied it.
I think he was being polite as he knew there wasn’t a hope in hell of me going there.2 -
At the stadium in Berlin. Got to Berlin this afternoon. Not overly busy with football fans. I reckon it will get busy from tomorrow lunchtime onwards.8

At home with the missus and a few friends.
We won’t get to see England in many major finals in our lifetimes, so just gonna enjoy it.6 -
