MANNION; 6 - could do nothing about the goal. Only one other serious save to make
R.E.G: 5 - not convinced. Lacks a bit of physicality
JONES: 7 - our best defender
GILLESPHEY: 5 - a bit ponderous and does not fill me with confidence

WATSON: 3 Gave their winger too much space and didn't press him enough. He was the difference between the two teams as he was their outlet.
COVENTRY: 6 Lots of possession and hustle and bustle but I felt he needed more forward action rather than backwards and sideways
BERRY: 6 Good positions and could have scored a couple. Not bad first viewing in fairness as the link man between midfield and forwards
ANDERSON: 5 not one of his better games but didn't give up
SMALL: 4 Worst game for us. Desision making was poor, first touch was lacking and his crossing was absolutely dreadful. Some positivity and his first game of the season so I'm sure he'll be fine but he played like a man who knows his position isn't assured and needed to impress. He failed at that
KANU: 6 Lots of running and harrying and got the guy sent off. But needs a bigger boy up there with him
CAMPBELL:5 Didn't look confident with the penno and it was a shocker. In fairness he worked hard and his pace worried them massively. A really useful player at this level.
Referee: 4 Fell for it everytime they hit the floor. So infuriaiting

All in all I wasn't disappointed at all. Brum are arrogant as are their fans but they look like they will walk this division. We were decent and solid without threatening much going forwards. I really enjoyed the game3 -

SMALL: 5 - Should have dominated and been our creative centrepiece but couldn't get the ball out from under his feet

MANNION: 6 - Not much to do. Couldn't help the goal from my view in the NSL.
R.E.G: 5 - Lets hope we don't have to rely for him in the league.
JONES: 6 - Done nothing wrong in my eyes.
GILLESPHEY: 6 -As above.
WATSON: 5 - Not as strong defensively and crosses was not something to write home about.
COVENTRY: 8 - Improvement on last season. Collects the balls in the dangerous areas and calmly pushes it back up the pitch without just hoofing it. MOTM
BERRY: 7 - Unfortunate to not get a goal. Appeared in the right positions and was great in the first half.
ANDERSON: 6 - There's a good player in there but with his age it's hit and miss what you're gonna get.
SMALL: 5 - Looked so disinterested for the first 20 minutes. Like he doesn't want to be here. Worst game in our shirt.
KANU: 5 - Not effective enough.
CAMPBELL: 7 - Our most attacking threat. Was barging players of the ball with confidence. Collecting the ball and taking on players. Making the right runs.
