Rumours Oscar Bobb has broken his leg/ankle on the eve of the season and will be out for months. Will be a bit of a blow to Man City's squad.0

Chelsea’s owners are familiar with baseball contracts which can commonly run to 8, 9, 10 or more years. It’s going to be a good few years until we see the effect they have on football though.1

That will force them into the market for an attacking player I would think. Losing Alvarez and now having Bobb injured doesn't give them a huge amount of attacking depth.0 -
Doku, Foden, Grealish, Savinho is still formidable alongside Haaland. Reckon they need one more central striker, isn't Bobb more of a winger anyway?0

Yeah I think a central striker will be on the cards. Bobb probably more of a winger indeed so I Savinho probably already fills that gap.

I knew Ipswich players were mostly inexperienced in Premier League, hadn't realised by how much though, until saw this table for players total appearances.0

Allegedly has turned down offers from Everton & Fulham to go to the Tractor Boys. Strange choice if you ask me but there you go.1 -

Anyway, I'm convinced Eze ends up going to City as the long term replacements for KDB. If they need to spend the money, they just will. One £65m down payment is small change for them. Not sure how they effects their PSR but hey, have they ever worried about that before?1 -

Foden is the long-term kdb replacement imo3

Gary Neville commenting on the latest Stick to Football podcast that City's quiet summer could be because they fear the worst regarding their investigation. Basically saying that if they're going to be found guilty and deducted loads of points they might decide to not bother signing anyone.
Surely this is nonsense? Much more likely that a) Pep doesn't like a huge squad and only really signs 2-3 players each year anyway and b) they are probably saving some money as they know they'll have to spend big to replace Walker and KDB soon.0 -

"Brighton have activated the £40m release clause for Leeds United forward Georginio Rutter."
Leeds signed him for 35m, he scored 7 goals (all in the Championship) in 57 games as an attacker and now they're getting a profit on him.
Football is ridiculous these days.2 - Sponsored links:

Wonder if they're signing Rutter to play off of João Pedro , effectively replacing Pascal Gross.0

Rutter doesn't play as a proper centre forward in fairness, he plays behind the striker and has looked a real handful whenever I've seen him.0

Apparently the Palarse co-owner is looking to buy Everton? How does that work, he'll have to sell his stake in the Stripey Nigel's right?0

Yeah he's been shopping around his stake in the Nigels for a while because he wants to be a majority shareholder somewhere.0 -

They'll sign his twin brother, thereby revealing themselves to be the two Bobb club they really are

Signing top players from the league below, which may or may not work in the PL, but if they do go back down they've at least got a top quality championship player for next season.1 -
