I'm not one for Jazz either, and I studied it... but my opinions and principles stand no chance when faced with great music. Only one other thing has that power over me... ah... and food... and Shiraz... and herbal C... and Bach...eastterrace6168 said:Very skillful guy Lenny, not one for Jaz, but watched this all the way through...Nice...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jHzdMo-YCc1 -

Sorry, I'm on a bit of a rant about this man, lets hope for a slow recovery.
This whole workshop is a masterpiece.
If you only want the money shot, go from 30:00 minutes to the end,but what goes on before gives a hint of how they get there..
(Also see how many classic standards you can identify during Hermeto's melodica solo)0 -

When a 9+ minute song feels like 30 seconds you know its good, this guy is such a talent, and I have been watching his videos when he was Busking on Brighton seafront with his group The Big Push on youtube, and worth a visit...hoof_it_up_to_benty said:

You've heard the covers now hear the original...0 -
Watching a You Tube channel.called "Classic Composer reacts to".... Doug Helvering, a US classical music composer, who breaks down classic Prog Rock and Classic Rock tracks, often on a first time listen. Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, Marillion, etc. If you havent seen it, it's very entertaining. A good start would his re-action to Hocus Pocus by Focus.0
