Is it just me, or is the club just... not advertising the game? Only 1 tweet about the game announcing the priority sale, nothing for general sale going live, nothing for after the post-Bolton hype? You would genuinely think that it was a international break up next looking at our feed.3

I'm amazed at the poor sales to date. Why did we sell out last year when we were awful? Maybe it was because it was Jones first match. Just seems weird.0

I wonder if the figures are not right. No way Stevenage figure is right.0

Just bought my ticket. Last time I went to Reading was when Vetokele scored and we won 1-0... here's hoping for something similar.

I mean we’re doing well, not shit
hardly a new ground last season cos we’d played there in 2019
reasonably easily accessible and not far
nowt as strange as Charlton folk
maybe all saving up for Shrewsbury1

Completely forgot about young Igor. Wonder what he's up to now.EpsomAddick said:Just bought my ticket. Last time I went to Reading was when Vetokele scored and we won 1-0... here's hoping for something similar.
It has reminded me of how much I hated the chant of his name. Dangerously close to sounding like eagles.0

Just got our Reading tickets - it seems to suggest we are all up in the corner (upper tier) rather than behind the goal. I have often thought we give our visitors an unnecessary advantage by having their fans right behind the goal rather than the south end two blocks of the AC stand2

Adults: £23 in South Stand,DamoNorthStand said:Just got our Reading tickets - it seems to suggest we are all up in the corner (upper tier) rather than behind the goal. Over 65s: £17 in South Stand,
Under 25s: £14 in South Stand,
Under 18s: £9 in South Stand,
Under 18s: £9 in South Stand
The above tickets are for The South Stand, which were in our allocation are behind the goal, perhaps they have sold out as they are slightly cheaper.

It was a big 6 pointer. If we had won we would have pulled clear from them & the bottom 4.bolloxbolder said:I'm amazed at the poor sales to date. Why did we sell out last year when we were awful? Maybe it was because it was Jones first match. Just seems weird.0

Yes it may not sell out but can’t risk it.

Should be a really decent turnout. Imagine we will get close to that 3k mark. Weather looks decent and still plenty of time for people to change their mind and buy one.1

Good numbers but let's hope the team don't do a Charlton on us!SouthWest_Addicks said:Should be a really decent turnout. Imagine we will get close to that 3k mark. Weather looks decent and still plenty of time for people to change their mind and buy one.0

It’s a seriously impractical idea, even if the Jimmy Seed Stand was left empty, in order that away supporters could be brought through the existing entrance. It would entail segregation costs, loss of toilets and refreshment outlets, and conflict with disabled access. Apart from that…DamoNorthStand said:Just got our Reading tickets - it seems to suggest we are all up in the corner (upper tier) rather than behind the goal. I’m not sure the argument for needing to put away fans elsewhere stacks up so much these days. The East stand and Lower West now regularly seem to be joining in the vocal support and the wraparound sound from that must be pretty confidence sapping for away players and fans as they look up to what is imposing sight from the basic terracing with seats and a roof JS stand. We need to concentrate on getting more fans in the existing home ends more than we need to worry about putting Charlton fans in the JS stand. That and sort out the mumbling line in the Allez Allez chant…1
