Just bumped into some Swedish Addicks in Wetherspoons in Greenwich - have to admire their dedication.
Sincerely hope the team turns up today after how poor they were at times against Barnsley.
Please let us win today...2 -

He always gave everything in our shirt, and I would find it cringeworthy if Dobbo gets any abuse.
I will give him a genuine warm greeting when his name is announced.I really hope so. The guy was an absolute warrior for us. Put his body on the line week in week out.Any who don’t recognise that need their heads checkingI’m shocked1 -
I believe Wrexham are way ahead of where their Xg figures suggest they should be and also conceded way less than they should have. Whilst I’m not a massive fan of Xg it does suggest they are currently punching above their weight
this is a big game and a big crowd. I hope we can turn up and put Wrexham in their place - but then again I’ve said this many times over the years and it’s very rare the players actually do it!
however I’m feeling positive today. 2-0
Kaheim Dixon secures it with a late second goal. And we’ll score in the first half too. Mitchell from a Taylor set piece7 -
Biggest day in the clubs history playing the mighty Wrexham.
Big crowds usually mean we lose but hopefully because most of the fans probably want Wrexham to win, it might tip things in our favour.4 -
Alfie never posed with another club's shirt and tried to leave during a relegation battle0

I very much remember back in the Selhurst days, in the early times of fanzines, the Sportspages shop up town, early football phone ins and discussions, the revived interest in football culturally, that braver supporters began to confront the racism that pervaded the game at all levels, not least amongst fans.
There was a reaction amongst the like minded and an attempt to improve things for everybody, and one of the prouder reasons to be a Charlton Athletic fan was that we as fans, and Charlton as a club, led the way in things like Kick Racism out of Football, and for ourselves the Red White and Black initiatives.
Today is our annual anti racism day, way more important really than the hype surrounding this particular match. Long after Wrexham have returned home, and other teams come and go, we can still maintain the pressure to make things better in football for everybody, and remain vigilant to prejudice.
Our fans can justly be proud of another Red White and Black day at Charlton, now a club tradition that stretches back decades.

Got a horrible feeling Alfie May will score the winner for them, bound to happen13

Purely on the basis that we more than turned up against Birmingham I’m plumping for a Charlton win 2-0 promptly followed by an ignominious exit in the Cup at the hands of Southend.0

Just picked up my half and half shirt.

Will be swerving, come down with something quite nasty and really struggling. My body is still probably recovering from the shock of the half and half in the club shop tbf.
It should be a great day, and jealous I won't be a part of a packed Valley.
I think we will win 3-1, just got a feeling. If we had Lloyd Jones, I'd be extremely confident. Without him, their aerial balls will be a problem, and Alex Mitchell will need to step up and deal with them.
I hope we ruin their day. Up the Charlton, safe travels all.3 -
On the train from Derby. We have players that raise their game against "big" teams.
Jones is better than Parky.
Don't think we lose!1 -
A one all draw. Mullin opens the scoring, a defensive error by cart horse OConnell leads to a Godden equaliser.0

Ex-Millwall striker Jon Dadi Bodvarsson has joined League One big-spenders Wrexham on a short-term deal until January.
The 32-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Bolton at the end of last season after they lost the League One play-off final to Oxford at Wembley.

Big Valley crowd, high expectations, fluid and fast passing opposition with former Addicks. What possibly can go wrong?3
-
Just bumped into an American family who were looking for the owners box. I guess they don't come too often. They were wearing scarves (not half and half ones thank goodness)0

The Wonderful @Fanny Fanackapan and I sporting our fabulous new scarf. Thanks you @Mendonca In Asdas for the thoughtful gift 🤣

I actually think us making this such a big occasion will play straight into Wrexhams favour, they are used to firming pressure0
-
I think we’ll lose. It'll be 1 win in 7. Patience with NJ will wear thin. The next manager will soon drop off the conveyer belt and we’ll begin the whole sorry cycle again.
Our football is shit now, was shit before NJ and will be shit afer him. The problem at this club is not the manager.
