If anything I imagine Jones thought that the ball had gone out, and was passing it to the player taking the throw in, so that they could get on with the game.
He just went to control it as it came to him at the dugout. Ref/lino thinks he's stretched too far and touched the ball before it's fully crossed the line, but decided it's a red card offence which is the insane part of it

So far Ahadme has won a couple of decent headers with Leaburn as the target. It'll be an interesting game for Miles as he'll be the one expected to play on the ground of the two by the looks of things
