The only problem with that Bournemouth statistic is that most of that time was in Division 3 South, a regional league, and 12 of those seasons they finished in the bottom half, the equivalent of Division 4 (League 2) today.
North and South were two divisions but of course they were only allowed to play in one of them.
It’s more accurate to say that they had 41 consecutive seasons in the bottom two divisions. Palarse, by the way, had 33, and Millwall had 18.1 -
