I take it thickos are ranked below village idiots.1

Will be interesting to see who's in the running and if Berylson avoids going to the complete opposite of Harris after the Joe Edwards disaster.
Robins I suspect would be in play but I don't know if he'd want an instant return. Ryan Lowe and Steven Schumacher probably solid contenders

Groundhog day. How long before he's spotted at the Valley whilst doubts over Jones persist. 🤣1

Very strange.
He's leaving, ok fair enough but will......
"step down from his role as head coach following The Lions’ trip to Middlesbrough on Saturday."
So he's off but will stay in charge for 2 more games?0 -

My first thought was has his cancer returned, hopefully it hasn't and there are other reasons.14

Personally i hope they decide to reappoint Ian Holloway.MarcusH26 said:Will be interesting to see who's in the running and if Berylson avoids going to the complete opposite of Harris after the Joe Edwards disaster.

We were called village idiots by our manager Andy Nelson, many moons ago.MillwallFan said:

Swindon seem like a completely dysfunctional club off the field so it's probably a good fit for Holloway's madness.0 -
I'd take Harris in a heartbeat.Gravesend_Addick said:Anyone fancy a straight swap?
He'd sort out our squad in no time.6 -

Charlton fans have a mutually felt antipathy towards Millwall, but in football terms, within the local football culture of contacts conversations and encounters I am sure that Neil Harris is respected and well regarded, and he extends that respect to others he knows in the game, including those associated with Charlton.3
-
I think I read somewhere that Nathan Jones was interviewed for the job at Millwall before they gave it to Joe Edwards.0
-
I genuinely would be very surprised if he would want the Charlton job given his Millwall history.seth plum said:Charlton fans have a mutually felt antipathy towards Millwall, but in football terms, within the local football culture of contacts conversations and encounters I am sure that Neil Harris is respected and well regarded, and he extends that respect to others he knows in the game, including those associated with Charlton.0 -

Jones & Kav never saw eye to eye, but Kav isn't there anymore.Blucher said:I think I read somewhere that Nathan Jones was interviewed for the job at Millwall before they gave it to Joe Edwards.1 -
The village idiots are still angry about the reference.guinnessaddick said:

Always liked Harris. Seemed to have too much class for the Turkish flag wavers IMO.

Harris is a top fella, lives up the road from me, drinks in the same pub and I played football and cricket against him as a kid. For a spanner he has said some nice things about us as a club in the past
But I don’t want him managing us8 -
Just seen on Sky sports that he's leaving my mutual consent in two games time 😳.
Must be the first time that a manager leaving by mutual consent has two more games and doesn't go immediately. 🤔1 -
Blimey! I'm gobsmacked. Millwall are doing brilliantly compared to us. Maybe Harris feels he is too passionate about the club to manage them on a long term basis, although he was a shrimper in his early days. Despite his comparative success I don't want him managing Charlton.0

Does this mean Norville is stepping up to the plate?0

Always liked Harris, he was a bloody good footballer until he got cancer, thankfully he recovered.Southendaddick said:Harris is a top fella, lives up the road from me, drinks in the same pub and I played football and cricket against him as a kid. I like him even more now.2 -
That’s the Wycombe manager ruled out then 😂RonnieMoore said:Just spoken to a Millwall fan he reckons the Wycombe manager coming in ?8 -
Definitely not a “football” decision. For whatever reason he’s decided to go he’s honourable enough not to leave Millwall managerless so is staying on for two games despite the announcement. Can only see this as being driven by NH so let’s hope the reasons are not health related.9

They most certainly are….…especially yours truly, being one of the two guys who made the protest banners and who he was particularly referring to. 😇Friend Or Defoe said:
