I was on the opposite side. The pictures I took were before kickoff, the ground was pretty full.WelshAddick said:My boy has gone to goodison tonight. Like killer he went to tick it off.

Cian Hayes the Posh left winger looked decent, but in general there was a desperate lack of attacking flair out there tonight0

Incredible Ferguson has ended up having some backlash for not bringing on Ashley Young kid in the game. It wasn't a meaningless friendly.
Fair play to him for backing it up with "As much as I wanted Tyler to get on, if the game had been 2-0 at that point I would've put him on but at 1-0, I had to get a forward on. I've got to try and get something out of the game and do what is best for my team."One of their [Everton] players had a pop at me, which was bang out of order. We are not a charity case."

Can I admit on here that I'm a tad nervous about Tadworth on Sunday. 3G pitch 3 days before the NLD? Its got nightmare written all over it, hasn't it?0
-
Think Ange sticks out a youth team? You can't really rotate much as most of your squad are injured anyway but would imagine if you lose the reaction would be catastrophic. Feels like he's in a lose-lose scenarioJohnBoyUK said:Can I admit on here that I'm a tad nervous about Tadworth on Sunday. 3G pitch 3 days before the NLD? Nervous or complacent, mate? You're off to Tamworth not Tadworth. Let's hope Ange manages to look up from the floor long enough to get the right address plugged onto the team bus's SatNav. 😀JohnBoyUK said:Can I admit on here that I'm a tad nervous about Tadworth on Sunday. 3G pitch 3 days before the NLD? Surrey Hills or Birmingham. Think I'd be picking Tadworth instead too.1

I get why he didn't do it, the equivalent of Charlton playing Dixon in tomorrows game, though I don't like him playing to the gallery (especially when his family gave him handouts (charity) in the past)1 -
That says a lot more about Alex than Darren.JustFloydRoad said:

Imagine had Peterborough been about 4-0 down by the 80th minute it would have made sense. However they're not in a great place in the table, could have got a result against Everton until it went 2-0 so it would have been Managerial suicide had he played Young1

Arsenal have to play Man Utd on Sunday ahead of the NLD on Wednesday and their only player that provides a real threat in matches is out injured and you’re worried about playing Tadworth on a 3G pitch tomorrow ???0 -
Fair point. We have only won once at the Cameldome since it opened (all of 15 years ago now in 2020: 2-3 Bale, VdV and Kaboul!) Against our better judgment, we all write that game off at the start of the season. Where as when we are expected to win (see Ipswich, see Palace for recent examples), we find a way of losing. I'm more nervous of the 3G pitch and the potential for injuries given how many we've got out already. The last time we played on an artificial pitch was Young Boys in the CL qualifier and we was 3-0 down in 30 mins or something like that.letthegoodtimesroll said:JohnBoyUK said:Can I admit on here that I'm a tad nervous about Tadworth on Sunday. 3G pitch 3 days before the NLD? I don't like the way the media hyped this up (considering it was a very small possibility of it happening) and I just agree, with something I heard from a pro footballer pundit, that the kid shouldn't of been in the squad if he wasn't good enough.
Would of been nice, but wasn't to be.
Only saying that (if he did say that comment) he should think about the oppotunities he was given in his youth (ironically by his father) and think carefully about his choice of words.0 -
Presenter on Talksport last night with Cundy thought Ferguson was bang out of order and a killjoy. Cmon. His job is to win a game of football for Peterborough not pander to everyone and create a nice little story. Glad he stuck to his guns.stoneroses19 said:Incredible Ferguson has ended up having some backlash for not bringing on Ashley Young kid in the game. It wasn't a meaningless friendly.

Personally I wanted the Youngs to face each other, just to create some interest in what was otherwise a dull game!LargeAddick said:

With the injuries in this Villa v West Ham game, maybe due to the cold weather, we can consider ourselves lucky the Preston game postponed.1
