Makes sense, questioned his future yesterday when others were talking about the departures of Taylor and Campbell - You'd definitely hope that we've got irons in the fire, as even though they're three very much backup individuals, we wont cope in the slightest without at least two of them replaced.2

If those other 2 follow Edun out the door I'd expect 2 midfielders and a wide/attacking player in. Can't see NJ wanting to leave himself with just Anderson as cover in the advanced role.2 -
Yeah thats surely like committing suicide as a Manager - As our next options Midfield would no doubt be Z.Mitchell - Enslin - KedwellMarcusH26 said:ForeverAddickted said:Makes sense, questioned his future yesterday when others were talking about the departures of Taylor and Campbell - You'd definitely hope that we've got irons in the fire, as even though they're three very much backup individuals, we wont cope in the slightest without at least two of them replaced.

Very surprised by that, not sure he’s up to scratch in L1 and not a very Posh style signing either. Would imagine that’s a decent chunk from the wage bill too2

Told he's Lloyd Jones closest mate at the club, hopefully doesn't unsettle him 😂2

Edun and Sam Hughes on loan from Stockport (was Burton's Skipper) are very un Posh signings. Usually it's some 19-22yr old National League or lower starlet.5 -
Yeah was just thinking that I wouldnt be impressed if I was a Peterborough fan, given his limited game time... comes across a bit desperateMarcusH26 said:fenaddick said:Very surprised by that, not sure he’s up to scratch in L1 and not a very Posh style signing either. Can someone please charge the super duper phone.1

Edun's place in my memory will be one really outstanding first time ball through for a goal at the valley and the mad minute at Reading when the whole crowd were screaming at him to cross the ball, three failed attempts later he gave up, which is now exactly what we have now done.0
-
I think we will get one signing next week, and then 2 more in the last week. Along with 2-3 more outgoings0 -

Permanent deal until the end of the season. Wonder if we paid up his contract?0

I am seeing rumours on Twitter that Clucas is joining Lincoln.1

Bonne is carrying extra timber these days and has unfinished business yet again.6 -
Not hard to improve us. "Significantly" is hard to gauge. Can we afford Mo Salah ?Ferryman said:
NJ said today we'd only sign someone who would significantly improve us. That's probably beyond our budget but we'll see.golfaddick said:I'm sure back in August iwhen some of us stated that our transfer dealings were a bit short we were told to wait to see where we were at xmas & that we could always strengthen in January.
Now January is here we get told that the January window isn't the best time to be signing players & its more of the case of getting rid of dead wood.
Same old same old as usual. Teams around us who are serious about promotion are strengthening whilst once again we miss out on players that are better than what we have.
Said it before.....play offs are a pipe dream with this squad. A 10th place finish is about the best we'll do I'm afraid.0 -
I don't remember it.charlton_hero said:
He will always be remembered for that goal at Pompey though. Great away day!blackpool72 said:

i was told by several of the previous SMT, he was the worst professional they had ever dealt with, so yep big yes.redbuttle said:What about Nicky Ajose

We haven't signed someone crap on loan from Man City yet this season. Surely that's coming soon?7

Incredibly, Ajose played more games for us than any of his other clubs.blackpool72 said:

No firm interest in Campbell despite being linked with several Scottish clubs.0 -
I can't believe we had to pay them that much to take him!Dizzle said:4 million im told0 -
Think if Allan Campbell happens it will be the last couple of days of the window type thing. I'd quite like not to be F5ing this thread on deadline day only for us to sign a U21 PL loan Midfielder right on the deadline because everything else fell apart0

Article about Kanu going out on loan.
Out of him and Dixion he is the one more suited to sending out on loan.

If Wiki is to be believed, then he actually started more games for us than either Bury or Swindon.JustFloydRoad said:Uboat said:

Millwall picked up a reported £12 million for Esse’s transfer to Palace. Invest even half that wisely and they could do something.1

You do know Gallen is there don’t you ? He is probably lining up the deal for Bonne as we speakShootersHillGuru said:Millwall picked up a reported £12 million for Essex’s transfer to Palace. Invest even half that wisely and they could do something.10 -
Some decent signings for other clubs whilst our potless owners who have no ambition continue to focus on trying to make money from selling our previous poor signings.
