It depends what you mean by 'do something'. Luton bought a centre back for 10m and Hull spent almost 25m overall and they're both struggling. Other clubs higher up can also spend a lot. Norwich for example bought a striker in the summer for 8.5m and last week bought a winger for 6m.

Now that our chances of reaching the play offs have all but gone I don't expect any major signing this window.
It's always harder to bring in quality players in January than it is in the summer.
If we were 6 or 7 points better off than we currently are then the owners may have splashed the cash to get us over the line.
But lose on Tuesday and it's not going to happen.2 -

He has quite a lot . He’s been good this season , although playing in the middle of a back 5 is pretty easy .Scoham said:
