Because of his apparent demotion from
the board or are you aware of other changes?0 -

Because of his apparent demotion from
the board or are you aware of other changes?“I’ll still be able to support in various capacities and I look forward to seeing the club continue to progress.”
Sandgaard added: “Ged has done a lot of important work during his time at the club and while we wish him the best for the future, I’m sure we’ll still see him around a lot as he’ll be helping us on upcoming projects.”
This will be another iteration, if indeed the club even mentions Scott again.5 -

Airman Brown said:Callumcafc said:"Update with regard to purchasing the Valley and Sparrows Lane?""Thorny topic ... we are with the fans here, we weren't the ones who separated the assets from the club ... the first thing is about security of tenure, we need to make sure Charlton can play here medium to long term ... whether that means buying or a long lease extension ... having a short term lease is a challenge because you're effectively spending money on someone else's house and they can raise the rent after you've made any improvements... ongoing talks with the landlord to ensure the Valley remains long term home of Charlton Athletic ... there have been initial conversations and it's something we will pursue with all of our mighty because we want to make sure Charlton is playing at the Valley for as long as we can"
Whether it can be resolved cheaply I doubt, but it is a significant problem and will get worse as the clock runs down.0 -

Supporters can take part in the club’s bi-annual Meet The Directors fan meeting on Thursday, January 23rd at 7pm GMT.
The meetings, which form part of the club’s new Fan Engagement Framework, give supporters the opportunity to put questions live to members of the club’s Board and men’s first-team Manager Nathan Jones.
The CharltonTV show, hosted by Charlotte Richardson, will be streamed for free on the club’s YouTube channel, website and app. As with the two previous meetings, a representative from Charlton Athletic Supporters’ Trust (CAST) and Fan Advocates Lucy Bishop and Lewis Catt will join via Zoom to ask questions. Supporters will also have the opportunity to submit their questions live via email (website@cafc.co.uk) and WhatsApp on 07384 517580.
As part of the production, it will be announced which two supporters will be voted on to the Charlton Advisory Board. Voting for the Charlton Advisory Board closes at 11.59pm on Wednesday, January 22nd. Click here to find out more on the candidates and to register your vote.
Speakers at the meeting will include:
- Chairman of the Board: Gavin Carter
- Chief Executive Officer: Charlie Methven
- Managing Director: James Rodwell
- Men’s first-team Manager: Nathan Jones

Will the fan advocate roles be defunct once the advisory board two are announced, or are they intended to be completely different roles?3

Might be worth making this a sticky and editing the title, as it's quite short notice and easily missed2

We have nine secure seasons left at The Valley. Cutting through all the crap, the one substantive thing this board could do off the pitch is to extend that. I think it will be hard to do, because of RD, and I don't think Charlie and his chums have the interest in it to make it happen because they don't plan to be here in 2034/35. I don't expect a running commentary or even care what they say about it in the meantime, but if they did actually manage it I'd consider that important progress.
Those who think it's not urgent should consider that the lease has already run for five of its 15 years and no third party in their right mind will be investing in (subsidising) a club that is at risk of losing its ground in under five. Tick tock.34 -
Yeah but Oxford United are holding their own.0

Lets not waste the time we are given
this Thursday by asking the wrong questions.
How have talks gone with Roland in regards to getting The Valley back in the hands of The football club.
The future of our club should be everyone’s concern.7
