Played 90 minutes in a nil nil. Picked up a booking.
Northampton fans seem generally pleased with their midfield improvement between Taylor and Shaw.

Cheers... I wasnt sure if it was a League wide rule, or whether it was dependant on the terms of the agreement between the two clubs - Makes sense, but always be funny if it gets to matchday and the parent club suddenly realise that they forgot to add it inKap10 said:

I suspect that might be one of the reasons Peterborough signed Edun permanently and effectively brought up his contract rather than loan him.ForeverAddickted said:

Getting some really positive reviews by Northampton fans. Happy for him.
He's played every minute of every game he's played since he's been there so far.

Vs. Bolton: 7.3 (Cobblers motm and only player above a 7)

To be honest it feels like a good loan all round so far. Some players are good but don't fit in with the manager's style and its suits everyone to make a fresh start. I don't think Taylor did much wrong but we haven't missed him at all since he went and he's showing what he can do at Northampton. Hopefully he builds his profile enough that someone is willing to pay a decent amount of money for him and we can reinvest that in players that suit us better14

The real litmus test is how we cope if/when Coventry is suspended or injured. Maybe Salford who have their famous owners and just had a lucrative cup tie at Man City, but who else?
After watching an episode about Salford and the class of 92 only last night unless their keeper and captain back in December 24 was lying, his quote after a losing run and just before Robinson's appointment and a 5-1 home defeat was:
"If we get relegated I'm in trouble as I have a mortgage and two young kids and a wife to support"
No way he was anywhere near 250k a year and it was the opposite of the Wrexham Hollywood story.

We don't miss him now, no. But there's no real point in keeping him around on a decent wedge just for that scenario.
He's been at Wolves, Grimsby, Burton and Northampton as well as us, I reckon he's more settled in the Midlands overall, and expect to see him sold in the summer. Shame because I really rated him but sometimes it happens where a player and a manager just don't click0 -
Undoubtedly, but apparently he wanted to play more and there's a balance to be struck between having an unhappy player around the place who will only get a game if Coventry is unavailable and having high quality back-up. If Coventry stays fit and we are maybe without him for one or two games I don't think Taylor would have been happy to stay for that level of cameo. If it's just a couple of games then Anderson or Docherty can fill in hopefully without us suffering. Time will tellsam3110 said:

We finished on Saturday with Gilbert playing alongside Docherty in the middle, and he did a good job defensively in added time, so he's an option too for certain situations.Garrymanilow said:
