Not sure what games you’ve been watching but he’s hardly a bad player, nothing special but hasn’t had any disasters from memory.

He’s a decent player who has already won promotion playing for Rotherham, he’s 100% improving Leyton Orients squad and you’d be silly to think otherwise.
Guess I'm silly then. Bloke can't kick a ball straight.

We’ll have to agree to disagree. I think he’s bang average at best

No evidence of quality being enhanced.

Not too fussed about losing REG. He offered good versatility but otherwise wasn’t good enough to hold down a place in the team.

Not sure I know much about McIntyre but he was rated at Reading not had much chance to impress at Portsmouth.

I really hope that we have another player coming in though because I feel we are just one more attacking player short. Let’s hope that’s not it.

And we're selling REG so we've sold players and not spent a penny (so far) on transfer fees for this window.
Shit, somebody look down the back of the sofa in the next 30 mins and find our billionaires some loose change.....
    Bore off
Now now .... is it time for your bed?    It's a forum.   I only say I'd like us to make and win the play offs so we don't spend another year down here.   Cheers for the constructive comment :-)
No thank you for the excellent and original comment about our billionaire owners not spending any money 😴
Au contraire mon ami.   They are spending money.   £8m of it a year.   Down the plughole.   In this division.   I'm trying to get them to stop spunking it in this shit tip and try the Champtionship for you know, a change of scenery and fresh air !

REG’s best asset is his versatility but if the new loan player can play as 6 and Ramsay will
play as RCB then that versatility isn’t as useful

I don’t know what is more crazy

selling Reg to a promotion rival in Orient (regardless of weather he improves them or not he’s adding squad depth their for aiding them)

or living in a time where Orient are actually in contention with us for a playoff spot.

I presume that’s it - email from the club about bucket-heed signing said ‘not a bad end to a Monday’ - so night all!

Sadly, I remember him for throwing the ball out of play 3 times in a single game. Baffled me.

And REG was the defender going out which would split opinion.

Not sure where this leaves Mitchell.

Squad does seem rather slim now so temptation might be to keep Zak who can cover in midfield and CB.
  • assume we won't let zach Mitchell honour on loan now? I'm hoping not. he's a terrific player and when fit preferred to REG
Unless I've missed the club announcing Zach's move, hopefully he'll be staying with us.

Both about same level in 2025 I reckon

REG going is understandable for both sides him and us. He has not had many opportunities to play, which is likely to have contributed to his poor showing on the whole for us. A regular start may well give him a chance to get up and fully running so to speak.

Most of the players we let go barely played, we don't need a replacement for each of them.

I’d be keeping Mitchell now for sure, he must have a good chance of getting in the squad.

Genuinely not being hilarious.   Pointing out the financial facts for you in case you can't read the presentation they showed us a couple of weeks back / you missed it.

He can’t get into our team and apparently we’ve got no chance of going up with this squad. I’m sure the fact the best thing we can say about him is he hasn’t had any disasters is just the boost Orient need to carry on their promotion push though

Don't mind too much REG going but would keep Zac Mitchell.

Also no clue on McIntyre but we do need cover / replacement for Gillesphey.

all the outs make sense to me - the big disappointment is not getting a pacy winger / forward in - if one of small or tc get injured, we're stuffed but i think thats the business done although not been confirmed

My point is it still smacks of trimming the budget more than going for promotion with an extra impetus for the team.

    I hope I’m wrong naturally.
