I have two castore shirts- no issues whatsoever - wash at a lukewarm temperature inside out perfectly fine.

Tell it to the kit man!

No need to, I'm talking of my own experience, although it could help I guess.

Not sure when their deal expires but I’ve been told we’ll be with someone else possibly next season, has anyone else has heard similar?

Shirts aren't built to last these days, gone are the stitched badges and sponsors and now they screen print the crap out of everything on there. The result is everything falls off after a few months of washes. I can see why they don't bother making them better, if a shirt is only used for a season why should it be required to last for years when you're gonna buy the next one in a few months?
  • I hope we get Puma, I was honestly jealous when I saw Posh had Puma. I had a quick look at their online store & they've got a load of Posh Puma stuff for sale, treble the amount we have.

    Bohs new away shirt.

  • Bohs new away shirt.
Though I have to support UCD as my LOI team, I have a lot of time for Bohs, they're a great club and fanbase.
I do really like that shirt, O'Neills do some very good shirts (albeit mostly GAA), but it might have been interesting if the bottom 75% of the shirt had been black.

Not the one I’ve been told but I personally would be happy with them, don’t think we’ve ever had them before but they’re a classic British company. I say this all with massive asterisk as I’ll never claim to be ‘in the know’.

Deal runs out end of the season with Castore, was over on the club shop thread that a deal with a new supplier was close but the company that handled the distribution went bust so I don't know what's going on there.

Adidas please. With an Originals range…I’d gobble it all up.

Heard similar, although would be them ‘getting back into football kits’ type affair so hopefully some good kits!

Let’s hope we aren’t playing away at Bolton next season

Puma are German, founded by the brother of the guy who founded Adidas. Bit of mixed bag in terms of kit designs for me, but surely better than Castore.

Yes, Castore deal expires this summer.

Strong rumours about who the new supplier will be.

Must admit previous training kits not any better. I have a Hummel training kit and the Charlton badge fell off.

Shame they haven't tired to release this kit (love the pattern):

Can the strong rumours be shared ? not much for anyone to gain by keeping it a secret, while informing people youve heard stuff.

Isn’t the pattern, a map of The Valley and surrounding area?

Believe me I would, but I’d hate to either have completely false info, or to jeopardise any deal if it’s still in the works.

The company that held the license for the kit brand (Reebok) we were going to wear went bust, so I'm not sure what happened with the deal.

As for Puma and Adidas, if you want a template kit, cool, but I'd rather went with someone who could do a nice bespoke thing for us.

Baffling why they haven't sold this in the club shop.

Castore throwing a strope was the reason I was told. It's a stylised Map of the area?

That might well throw whatever I was told to the side.

Yes, but it is stylised that is what I like it.

    Umbro?
  • Umbro or Reebok would fit the bill based on the cryptic hints above about it being a classic British brand making a bit of a comeback into football...

Reebok, because Umbro are already in football and owned by Castore

I would definitely have bought one of those if it was available.
