Not at the Preston cup game, only premier league grounds.
  • What, Scottish Premiership?

Hopefully a dull game with both sides picking up season ending injuries to all their key players. Palace score in the last minute, mass pretend violence, bouncing, gesturing and throat slitting signs  erupt behind a line of disinterested stewards. The ground is closed for the remainder of the season, as is the new den, as the 'hold me backathon' reaches ridiculous proportions and is deemed an embarrassment to English football fans as it goes viral for hilarity purposes. A meeting is held the following season to settle tensions. A proposal to construct a maginot line around the penge/sydenham / brockley type area is made but on checking the addresses of the season ticket holders of each club, they decide to build it in the orpington area.  A gaza strip type camp suggested for clacketts service station or poll hill garden centre.
Got bored halfway through. Can you summarise?

Too many long words more like.
    And no pictures.

  • You know it's a pretty boring draw when Palace v Millwall is potentially the most interesting tie of the round.
  • Oof. Millwall keeper sent off for kicking Mateta in the head trying to make a clearance. Millwall fans now showing themselves up singing "let him die" while there's multiple medical staff on the pitch treating him.
  • Jesus - what was that lunatic Roberts thinking...nearly took Mateta's head off.  Definate red...
  • I hope Mateta's OK, because that's a possible fractured skull.

  • An absolute shocker of a challenge.  Hope Mateta isn't too badly hurt but really didn't look good

Yes...meanwhile the Millwall scum sing "let him die, let him die..."
  • From the looks of that Mateta's unconscious, the way his hand dropped to the stretcher.
  • Palace get the ball in the net, but disallowed for handball.
  • Can’t believe the ref needed VAR to get that one right.

Reminiscent of Schumacher Battiston. Obvious red.

    Definitely my 1st thought.
Shocking challenge and a ban of 3 matches doesn't seem enough.

Thank fuck for VAR as not sure if Oliver could see in the shadows it was ABH with the high flying kick in the head.

Wow. You can diagnose that so quickly just from some TV footage?

You must be a great doctor. Can you have a look at this rash I've got please?

Roberts kicked him in the head with a flying kick and
he could well have a serious injury.

Did your rash appear after going to the 'Millers' 🤔
  • 1-0 Palace. Own goal?

  • That's it.

Turn TV off, go and get some lunch and prepare for the real big london derby later this afternoon.

"Possible" Off_it, you know what that word means, right? And given he got a boot straight to the head with some force, and the studs are going to focus the pressure in certain areas, it's not an unreasonable worry that that's what's happened.

    not sure.
  • 2-0 now subject to VAR check for offside.
  • Tanganga having a cracking game so far. Beautiful own goal and now knocks on to play the goalscorer onside for the second. 2-0
  • 2-0 now, this could get embarrassing for Millwall. Palace look like scoring with every attack.
  • Holmesdale End seems relatively quiet. Flu outbreak diagnosed.
  • Preston 2-0 up over Burnley. Our conquerors heading to the 6th round.
