If Gilbert gets on the pitch we will stand a good chance.Brings quality passing and accurate delivery of dead balls. Prefer Leaburn to non-scoring Godden.Don't think we work the ball into danger areas often enough for Goddens' style. Leaburn scored on sub appearance game before last and can make his own chances. Hold up play abit of a concern for both.
Hold up play is a concern for Godden?! Part of our success is banging it long and he making it stick. Godden is brilliant at it. What weird glasses are you wearing?
I do agree with the Gilbert bit though. I’d like him to get at least 45 minutes today. He’s proven that he fits in the team and some of the others may be tiring.
Today isn't the day I'd be starting Gilbert. Tough, northern awayday against a team above us in the playoff places. We will need Berry's hard work and running from the start. Gilbert to come on for 30 mins or so.
Woke up this morning feeling fine. I got Charlton on my mind. Midweek we got the points but we werent so good. Oh yeh. Something tells me more points are coming good!
Another tough game but the last 2 wins mean even if we do lose its not the end of the world
We have to be aiming for top two. I reckon we have a 10% chance given that we’re unlikely to keep up this form as I think we are limited to only 14-15 players of a high enough standar to do it. (Starting 11 + Gilbert, Anderson, Leaburn, maybe McIntyre)
These two matches a week periods are vital. If we can keep it up now then that percentage increases. If we also get no injuries or suspensions then it goes over 50% imo. You can bet that the players and management are not just thinking about top 6.
Today is the real banana skin. I think we’ll fall short today. I’ll be very happy with a draw which is indicative of my realistic 10% chance for 2nd place.

Think is a bigger game for Stockport today then us … the important win was Tuesday think the pressure of us a little today
Pressure is def not off us at all Ronnie, we need to press on, every match is very important and won't change until May 3rd...then the fun begins with the play offs...

I tend to agree on Gilbert not starting today and depending on the state of play, either 30 minutes against Stockport or definitely a full 45 minutes against Crawley where we want to go for the Jugular and win by at least a couple of goals and dominate from start to finish.
I'm not as confident today as the Orient game where I tipped a 2-1 result for CAFC. I would bite your hand off for a draw today and a win against Crawley which would put us above Stockport and in 4th place by end of play on Tuesday night with the same amount of games played with both today's opponents and Huddersfield. I expect Bolton to also be on 63 points from 36 matches after the midweek match but we have a superior goal difference.
Going against my mantra of 'one match at a time' but... You have to dream 💭
As was pointed out by others before the game, we're definitely going to be having problems with their stewards today.
It's a practically empty stadium and several of them are already kicking off about people going to the toilet, taking pictures, generally looking at the ground, etc.
I have had three different stewards in a row accuse me of being in the ground without a ticket already. They're clearly looking for trouble as as soon as I prove to one that I have a ticket, another approaches me!
