Stockport aren't going to win plaudits for their free flowing fancy football but they are very good at what they do and frankly it's not like we can cast too many stones on that front either.
Don't think Godden would have really made much difference honestly, Gilbert may have been a difference or maybe he'd have been muscled and ineffective.
Win the next game and it's a good point to keep the run going.
7 points out of 9 against play off rivals in the last three games . I think we would all have taken this a few months ago.
Stockport did a really good job of stopping us playing. One more point nearer promotion on a day where a couple of the teams in contention lost against lower ranked opposition.
A lot of results went our way today but with Wrexham winning & Wycombe get a late point I think top 2 is just a step too far.
We need to consolidate our position by picking up points against Crawley & Wigan and then not lose to Huddersfield. I notice that they aren't playing in the International weekend so it would help us if we didnt either. Get to the start of April with another 5 or 7 points and see what everyone around us have done.
I think Barnsley & Orient are out of it, but think Bolton are going to be our major threat. Need to get to 78 points....maybe even 80.
Tough battles all over the pitch and we went toe to toe where needed. Teams will focus on shackling our wide men and today it paid off in blunting our attack. But defensively we were resolute. Towering performances from Jones and Supermac. No more than expected from Josh and Kayne - two tremendous saving tackles in the box from the latter after their tricky fella (Olaofe - ex Millwall) twice seemed to have got past him. And a brilliant point blank save from Mannion worthy of a clean sheet.
Those criticising Leaburn obviously missed the number of clearing headers he made - he was a huge asset in our box today.
Roll on Tuesday. We owe Crawley a thumping after that abysmal performance at home.
I rarely watch us on CharltonTV and today showed me why.
A nervous 97mins with little quality from either side but we restricted them to few chances and came away with a valuable point.
Doing that when you haven't played well is key to success but I hope it was just an off day for Small and Campbell although it was clear County saw them as our key men and set up to stop them.
Hope Jones is fit for the rest of the season.
Too often our keepers have been marked down on the basis they "had nothing to do" but today Mannion did what was need in difficult windy conditions. He and Gillesphy were men of the match.
7 points out of 9 with two difficult away games is far from shabby and we know we can play better.
Get some revenge over Crawley on Tuesday and we are well set for the run in.
Unless the away end had its own weather system, there was zero wind
Managed to miss the Match as I thought it was a 1500 kick off but had a beautiful brunch and walk along Ryde promenade with a good mate. Sounds from the reports that I had the best of it and I’d have taken a point before we started so onwards and upwards.
So many technical problems. Bacon is over cooked, not enough rind and has been left too long under the grill. The hash browns are an imposter, either serve bubble and squeak or a tattie scone.
Butter should be gently curled onto the toast, and the beans look dry and barren.
I know this time of year is not seasonal for tomatoes, but even so that flacid example is shocking even at my age.
The mushroom is bullying the sausage off the plate, and the sausage is one step off a Weiner.
Please explain the green stuff to me? Has no place on a plate of breakfast....

Very tough game against a bunch of bullies. The lenient ref made that happen. You could argue we got away with some as well but I lost count of how many times our players were wrestled to the ground. I think their number 18 sent more time pulling Jones's shirt than playing football. And there was one particular push on Jones (I think) in the second half where he was blatantly pushed to the ground while airborne and the ref let it go. Thought the defence were awesome today and despite not being effective going forward the midfield contributed to that. We were quite frankly rubbish up front with Leaburn being the worst. Okay they were roughed up the whole game but they still didn't make the most of the few breaks we had. Still, a good point at a difficult ground. I,ll take that!
There was a shove on TC in the first half that left him on the ground and off the pitch. Ref still took no notice. I think that pushing and shoving is allowed to go on because of its twin evil, diving. I wish refs were better at distinguishing accurately between the two, but ultimately it's the players that do this nonsense. The Corinthian Spirit died years ago, so I don't suppose we should ever expect anything different.

I nearly missed it too. I was tootling round the supermarket at 12pm when I got a phone call from my son reminding me. Never did the weekly shop get finished so quick.
We missed a fair few headers that game where we’d jump take a shove and miss the ball as a result, it’s where a few of their chances materialised from. We bought Chuks on for physicality and of course the ref gives a foul against him everytime he challenges for a ball. Inconsistent reffing that allowed Stockport to play the game they wanted.

Happily taken a point before the game. I've said it before but the Charlton of 2 years ago would have folded and let Stockport bully them.
I wouldn't fear Stockport in the play offs. We can definitely beat them and it would be good to beat Dave Challinor, find the bloke abhorrent.

still lack firepower upfront but defensively very good, Jones outstanding.
One decent save from Mannion.
When we had two big men upfront, crying out for decent delivery but NJ didn’t take the option of using our best provider.
We weren’t at our best today but I never thought we’d concede, what a team we have.
