    I said it previously. The fact he missed out to Holland last year shows the pitfalls of the voting system adopted. An absolute disgrace

    I used to think that those who played 20-30 years ago would be at a disadvantage compared to more recent players. However I find that I cant remember half of those that played in the past 5-10 years. Is it a sign of old-age or that so many players have been used who remain eminently forgettable?

    The latter.  We have employed a number of shirkers masquerading as footballs in the last decade.
