Lawson and Doohan are both showing really, why they didnt get into Formula One immediately, and have had to wait for a bit of luck to go their way.

Drugovich really should take note, he's wasting his career

Drugovich just needs to go and race something properly. Can't keep on doing random sportscar races and then sitting in the Aston garage

What a great Quali from George Russell... He's a sneaky podium merchant this season!! - Such a Dark horse for the title - Unbelievable really that is Oscar's first pole position

Want to see his onboard to see how he's pulled that last sector off

Such a tight season. Small changes in track temperature send the tyres all over the place and completely turn the order upside down . Tomorrow looks cloudier so will be all change again quite possibly

Watched the Sprint at 03:00 - good race and pleased Ham44 held on.  Watched qualy at 07:00 - Oscar and Lando so close but Lando is a bit too prone to small errors that cost him.  Enjoyed seeing George split the Mclarens even though I'm a big Mclaren fan.  Felt a bit sorry for Liam Lawson - looked desperate in the interview and looks a bit out of his depth.

Really looking forward to watching the race tomorrow.  Much more manageable start of 7am than last week.

Fair play to all yous that watched it live last week, I couldnt miss out on that much sleep on my one and only lie in of the week!

I remember being in a job where I was crashing and burning, and whatever you do it doesn't get better, a swap with Tsunoda makes sense.

I can see Red Bull swapping Tsunoda and Lawson by the European leg of the season, if they don't drop him altogether

Would be amazed if Tsunoda gets the Red Bull seat, he has the talent but there are clearly political reasons he’s never got it before

Yeah Yuki's honda links will put pay to him ever getting the works Red Bull seat. Don't think Marko and Horner like him either.

I always presumed it would be one of Tsunoda / Hadjar in VCARB that would be at threat from Lindblad. Now I'm thinking its Lawson at risk, and they'll stupidly promote Hadjar early, with Tsunoda getting a potential Contract extension to race alongside Lindblad at VCARB

    Perfectly controlled from Piastri.

What a performance from Ollie Bearman!!... P17 to P10, 30-laps on tyres that lasted 20-laps for most others, even with heavier fuel, with some cracking overtakes!!

I don't think I noticed Kimi all race. Bearman easy DOTD.

Only time I noticed Kimi was that balls of steel move from Ocon.

Antonelli has shown he's got potential, like last week in Australia, but there is no way he should have been overtaken by a Haas!!

Apparently according to Reddit DOTD now gets bonus points for Fantasy F1. So I can understand the vote stuffing. Just absolutely bizarre.

Well, yeah I can understand the vote stuffing for those so invested in fantasy F1 that they’ll manufacture false outcomes, but it means the DOTD has crossed the line from “Questionable Value” to “Utterly Meaningless” in a racing context.

Just bin it. It brings nothing.

Yeah I'd agree with binning it. Was the same with Haryanto and the huge Indonesian fanbase he brought. If they're going to do it , let pundits pick it no more public vote

It would make sense swapping them

At what point do Red Bull accept they can’t design a car specifically for Max and expect others to perform in it? Obviously Lawson is doing a poor job but it’s not like he’s the first driver to struggle as the no 2

Leclerc's and Gasly's cars are underweight... Looks like Bearman is getting P9

Tuned in for the last 15 laps, doesn't sound like I missed a classic, long stints on the hard tyre are pretty dull.

Leclerc has been DSQ understandably, as has Gasly, and now Hamilton... Great weekend for Ferrari

That’s shambolic from Ferrari. Top brass at Maranello won’t be impressed with that.

Both a Haas and Lance fucking Stroll outscoring the Ferrari boys at the moment.

I know teams can turn it around (McLaren last season) but they really have managed to dig themselves into a hole haven't they?
