I’m slumming it in the Vista Lounge today and have been sitting next to a couple gents from Denmark. Colin Powell was doing the rounds and when he found out they were Danish, he immediately made arrangements for them to go and meet Claus Jenson. They were absolutely made up and like 2 kids in a sweet shop. Great gesture by Powelly 👍
Interesting that Ahadme hasn't made it at all but no that surprising. It looks like Jones has picked a bench that has two functions; shut everything down if we're winning - McIntyre, Anderson, Watson - or force something with wildcards if we're trailing towards the end of the game - Aneke, Dixon. I don't think Ahadme fits into either of those pots and he doesn't have that unpredictability the other two will need to show. I think Ahadme will make the bench in away games where we're going to be trying to break down miserable teams that want to stop us playing football on rubbish pitches and try and force something with a more physical player if we're not in front. Huddersfield will try and play and we'll try and catch them out with Dixon and Chuks if we need something late on.
Good to see Dixon, possibly some game management regarding Aneke and Ahadme, lose Chuks we know it's long term and it could happen any time, if Ahadme gets injured then we would have to rely on Chuks and we all know there are no guarantees there.

There was a Swedish family on the train. Huddersfield supporters, this was the FIFTH time they've come over to see them this season!
And all because the father somehow chose them in 1977, you've got to love the commitment to English football over there, and not just to the glamour sides.

Red started the game... Blue was a used substitute
😉
Just as sunny as last week's view but considerably colder ... and not as liquid.

Today has more of a "contractual obligation" feel to it as a season ticket holder.
It is indeed
