  • We were great, only negative was we didn't score more today.

The best that our midfield three have played today. Each did their own job brilliantly and was certainly Berry’s best game for us.
Jones and Campbell excellent, Godden is such a clever footballer. Nobody had a bad game.

Just a quick comment on the challenge on Ramsay first half. It was right in front of me and was no way a foul, just a full bloodied challenge which Ramsay came off a little worse from. Doubt it will be on his post game show reel.

Pleased you confirmed that as I watched that 4 times and I could see it was a robust challenge but I couldn't see a foul.
I call it nous( or shithousery 😃)when Mannion went down with Cramp 🤥 so early in the game so Ramsey could recover and so relieved he could play on and hopefully no issues after the match when no adrenaline is running through his veins.

  • We were better in every single department.

We played better football, we won in the air, we won on the ground, we won the tackles, we were more physical and outsmarted them.  Could/should have been more - would have loved for a TC hat trick, with that magnificent effort in the second half, forcing a fine save.

Credit to the Huddersfield fans for pointing out they had the ball near the end - it'll be a long ride home.

  • Well that was splendid.

Top performance all round really, 4-0 didn't flatter us. It has to be said that Huddersfield were terrible, so many casual passes, but if our pressing hadn't been so good, they might have got away with it.

Having been there before many times, it's nice to see the opposition fans having to resort to gallows humour.

TC must have put another 500k on his value today at least, as all that's been missing has been the finishing, and he took his goals superbly today.

No word from Golfie yet, perhaps he's breaking it gently to his 'black cloud' that he won't be needed this week !
    Oh bore off.
  • Golfie is standing in for The Prophet of Doom this weekend... I was too busy, thanks Golf!
  • A nice sunny day. Lots of fans pouring down Floyd Road. But I still miss seeing Ric and his acolytes flogging The Voice of The Valley: great mag. Good to see the Scandinavians' get a great round of applause. And then a goal in the first minute. I thought I was dreaming. Huddersfield couldn't cope with our press. TC top dog today.
